Photography and videography studios · Local SEO

You travel for the shoot, but Maps only knows where you sit.

Local SEO for a studio decides whether you appear when somebody nearby searches for a photographer. That matters most for the work which comes to you: newborn sittings, product shoots and portrait work. GullySales sets up the profile and the service area, and gets reviews landing on it steadily.

A market cross in a small town square: a stepped stone cross of four worn tiers standing in a ring of cobbles, a coil of stall rope left on the bottom step, a chalk pitch marked out on the stones and a chalk arrow pointing in from the nearest lane

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For photography and videography studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Half your work has no address at all

A wedding happens at a hall, a corporate film at their office, a product shoot at your place. Maps ranks the address you sit at, so the profile has to earn the shoots that come to you.

  • A studio above a shop is hard to find and easy to leave

Clients arriving for a portrait sitting or to collect an album need the floor, the landmark and somewhere to park. A misplaced pin turns a booked sitting into a cancelled one.

  • Reviews on the profile are what a referral checks

A venue or a friend recommends you and the couple looks you up within the minute. A thin profile undoes a good referral in ten seconds.

What we do

What we deliver for photography and videography studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A profile set up for the way a studio works

Categories for photography and video, the services you take, appointment-only hours if that is the truth, and the booking number on it.

Result: The listing describes the business you actually run.

  2. Service areas for the places you really cover

The towns and districts you travel to for shoots set on the profile, with the travel charge position stated plainly.

Result: Enquiries come from places you are willing to drive to.

  3. Photographs of the studio, not only the portfolio

The entrance, the stairs, the shooting floor, the viewing area and the parking, so a first-time visitor knows what they are looking for.

Result: Clients arrive on time for their sitting.

  4. Services listed shoot by shoot

Each kind of work added as a service with a short description and a starting figure where you are happy to show one.

Result: The listing answers before the phone rings.

  5. A review routine after every delivery

A request sent whenever work is handed over, across weddings, events, product shoots and sittings, rather than after one good season.

Result: Reviews build across all the work you do.

  6. A monthly Maps report

Calls, messages, direction requests and profile views each month, read next to the enquiries the studio logged.

Result: You see what the listing brings in a quiet month.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for photography and videography studios

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your portfolio against what people actually search for, how fast quotes go out, and where last season's bookings came from.

  2. 2

Fix the portfolio and the quote

Pages organised by the kind of shoot, a quote template the team can send within hours, and a record of every enquiry and the date it was for.

  3. 3

Build the pages that get found

A page for weddings, one for corporate events and one for product photography, each with real work and a way to check the date.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Local search for the shoot types you want more of, reels for reach, and Google Ads before the wedding season when the good dates go fast.

  5. 5

    Keep them coming back

A referral ask after every delivered wedding or event, and a reminder to past corporate clients before their next shoot season.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we list our home as the studio address?
Only if clients genuinely come there and you are content with it being public. Otherwise set a service area with the address hidden, which is allowed and is safer than inventing one. Album collection then happens somewhere you choose.
We shoot in three cities. Can we list a studio in each?
Only where you have a real, staffed place of work. Listings at addresses you do not occupy get taken down, and they can drag the good listing with them. For the other cities, build pages on your own website.
Do we need ads before the wedding season?
Yes, if the good dates are already filling up for competitors. Ads bring enquiries fast; the portfolio and reviews are what convert them once they arrive.
How long before we rank for wedding photography in our city?
It takes sustained work on a sound site, because the search is competitive in most cities. The Google Business Profile and reviews usually move faster, and we track both against your baseline every month.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
