Environmental testing and consulting firms · Lead generation

Turn a worried one-line message into a scoped enquiry.

Lead generation for an environmental firm is the work of getting plants, builders and promoters to ask you for a test or an approval, and of recording each request so it is followed up. GullySales sets up the routes enquiries come through and the questions that make them quotable.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For environmental testing and consulting firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “'Water test rates' is not an enquiry yet”

The sender has not said what water, from where, for which approval. A quote built on that line is either wrong or too long to win.

  • “The best leads arrive when the lab is out”

A notice reaches the plant on a Friday and the buyer messages three labs. The one with a person and a reply ready by the evening is the one he calls.

  • “Marketplace leads are shared with ten other labs”

An IndiaMART enquiry is sent to several firms at once. A late or vague reply gets ignored, and you have paid for the lead.

What we do

What we deliver for environmental testing and consulting firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A scoping route for each kind of enquiry

A short form and a matching WhatsApp reply that ask the questions a quote needs: plant, test, reason, sampling points, deadline.

Result: A request becomes a job you can price.

  2. One inbox for every source

Phone, WhatsApp, IndiaMART, JustDial, email and website forms recorded in one list with the source, the person who owns it and the next step.

Result: Nothing sits in a personal phone.

  3. A reply script for IndiaMART and directory leads

A first message that confirms what you test, asks the scoping questions and offers a call, written so it stands out from ten near-identical replies.

Result: More of the leads you pay for are answered well.

  4. A project note for builders and promoters

A one-page request that a promoter can fill from a project plan, so a monitoring or impact assessment scope can be drafted without a first meeting.

Result: You reach projects before they pick a lab.

  5. A qualifying checklist

Who is the buyer, what triggers the work, is it a repeat plant, is the deadline realistic and is the scope inside your accreditation.

Result: You spend field time on jobs you can do well.

  6. Lead sources read against work orders

Each source tracked through quote and work order, so you know what each route brings rather than what it sends.

Result: The money goes to the routes that win jobs.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

The routes a testing or consulting enquiry takes, what to record and how to reply.

A WhatsApp message with a photo of a notice
Record the company, plant, the test named in the notice and the date it is due. Reply with the scoping questions and a call time, and never ask for the notice to be sent again.
An IndiaMART or JustDial enquiry
Record the source, the exact wording and the time it arrived. Reply with what you test in one line and three scoping questions. Mark it won or lost with the reason.
A phone call to the lab
Whoever answers writes the caller, plant, test and callback number in the shared list, not on a pad. The call-back is made by a named person, not 'someone'.
A tender or RFQ from a company or builder
Log the issuing company, the scope, the closing date and who prepares the response. Check the portal's current rules and keep the submission copy with the record.
A referral from a consultant or equipment maker
Record who referred and thank them. Ask the referrer which plant it is and what was promised, so the first call does not repeat what they already know.
A form submitted on your website
Tag the page it came from. The form should ask the test, plant location and deadline, so you can see which pages bring serious buyers.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the lead generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we buy lists of factories from a data vendor?
Be careful. A list of plants is not a list of people who want to hear from you, and cold messages to a bought list can breach platform rules and data protection law. Build from your own client records and associations first.
The same plant sent the enquiry three ways. How do we avoid counting it three times?
Match on company and plant location when you log it. One buyer, one record, with the extra messages added as notes. Otherwise your lead count and your cost per lead are both wrong.
What counts as a qualified enquiry for a lab?
A named buyer with a defined test or approval, inside your scope, with a real date. A price-only message from someone who will not say which plant is an enquiry, not yet a qualified lead.
Walk-in sample drop-offs never get recorded. What should we do?
Add a one-line entry at the reception desk when a sample arrives: client, test requested, who brought it. Over a few months that list shows who your steady clients are and who has stopped coming.
We are a small lab in an industrial estate. Do we need all this?
You need the first part: a clear page for each test and a fast, written reply. A lab with one good enquiry route and a follow-up habit can out-sell a larger one that answers late. We will say what to leave alone.
Can we say our report is accepted by the pollution control board?
Only if you can show it, and only in general terms. Board requirements differ by state and change over time, so state your accreditation and recognition exactly as on your certificate and tell buyers to confirm current requirements with their own board.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
