Environmental testing and consulting firms · Website

Show a plant head what you test, how, and what the report looks like.

A website for an environmental firm has one job: to let a plant head, promoter or builder check your scope and send a proper enquiry. GullySales builds the site around the tests, the accreditation, a sample report and a scoping form.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

Last updated 11 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For environmental testing and consulting firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A river and a leaf on the home page, no capability”

Stock images and a mission statement say nothing about whether you can test boiler stack emissions or write an impact assessment.

  • “The accreditation is a certificate image”

A buyer cannot search an image, and scanning a certificate for one parameter is a chore he will not do.

  • “The enquiry form asks for a name and a message”

It does not ask the test, the plant or the deadline, so every enquiry needs a call just to begin.

What we do

What we deliver for environmental testing and consulting firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A site map organised by what a buyer needs

Testing, consulting, industries served, areas covered, reports and clients, with each service on its own page rather than in a single list.

Result: A buyer finds his test in two clicks.

  2. An accreditation page that can be read

Scope as a table of parameters and methods, with the certificate and its validity linked and a note on how to confirm it.

Result: The first trust question is answered on the page.

  3. A sample report with the client details removed

A redacted report that shows format, parameters, methods and signatures, so a plant sees what it will receive.

Result: The buyer knows what he is paying for.

  4. A scoping form that feeds your list

Test, plant location, reason, deadline and contact, which lands in your shared record and as a WhatsApp message to the owner.

Result: Every form is a quotable enquiry.

  5. A page on how to collect and send a sample

Bottles, preservation, labels, volumes and pick-up areas, in plain steps with photographs.

Result: Fewer rejected samples and fewer calls.

  6. A site that loads on a plant-floor phone

Fast pages on a mid-range handset and a patchy network, with call and WhatsApp buttons within reach of the thumb.

Result: The plant engineer can reach you from the gate.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What the page must show

What a plant head or promoter looks for on a lab or consultant's site, and how to show it.

Accreditation, in text
Give the accrediting body, certificate number, the parameters and the validity date, set out as a table. Link the certificate and state when you last checked it.
Tests grouped by what the buyer needs
Water, air, noise, soil and waste, each with the common parameters and the standards or methods used. Do not bury them under a general services list.
A redacted sample report
Show the layout, the units, the methods and where the signature goes. Remove the client's name, address and results before you publish it.
Who signs and who answers
Name the technical manager and the authorised signatory, with their qualifications as they appear on your records. Buyers want to know a person is accountable.
Areas and estates you serve
List the cities and industrial areas you reach for sampling, and say where you do not go. A buyer in a distant town should not waste a call finding out.
A scoping form and a WhatsApp button
The form asks for the test, plant and deadline. The button opens a chat with a pre-filled line. Both go to a person and are recorded.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the website work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we list our clients on the website?
Only with each client's written consent. Many plants prefer not to be named in connection with environmental work. Describe project types and the kinds of industries you serve instead.
Can the site be in Hindi as well as English?
Yes, if your buyers use them. A society treasurer or a local manufacturer may search in a regional language. Translate the test pages and the form first, and keep the technical report names in English.
How fast should the site load for a buyer on mobile?
Fast enough that a plant engineer with an average connection sees the test page and the call button without waiting. We test on a mid-range phone, not on a desktop, and fix what is heavy.
Who owns the domain and the hosting?
You do. Register the domain in the firm's name with a company email, and keep the hosting account in your control. A site you cannot move is a site you cannot leave.
We are a small lab in an industrial estate. Do we need all this?
You need the first part: a clear page for each test and a fast, written reply. A lab with one good enquiry route and a follow-up habit can out-sell a larger one that answers late. We will say what to leave alone.
Can we say our report is accepted by the pollution control board?
Only if you can show it, and only in general terms. Board requirements differ by state and change over time, so state your accreditation and recognition exactly as on your certificate and tell buyers to confirm current requirements with their own board.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
