Recruitment agencies · Branding

Say which roles you fill, because end to end says nothing.

Branding for a recruitment agency is the specialism an HR head can repeat to a colleague, and the documents your consultants send out every day. GullySales settles what you are known for, then fixes the shortlist format, the mail templates and the credentials note so every consultant represents one firm.

A sign-painter's bench: a shop sign on a low easel lettered as far as its last character, which is still only pencilled in, a mahl stick laid across the work, open tins of paint on the floor and a finished sign hanging from its iron bracket above

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For recruitment agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The shortlist is the document you are judged on

A client reads three profiles with a note on each and decides whether to brief you again. Most agencies send attachments with no covering note.

  • Six consultants write to clients six different ways

Six mail formats and six descriptions of the agency. The HR head who deals with two of your recruiters sees two companies.

  • A specialism is easier to recommend than a service list

An HR head recommends the firm that fills plant maintenance roles. Nobody recommends a complete talent partner.

What we do

What we deliver for recruitment agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One line saying which roles you fill

A short agreed sentence about your specialism, used on the site, the profiles, the credentials note and in every consultant's signature.

Result: Clients can describe you accurately to somebody else.

  2. A shortlist format every consultant uses

One page per candidate covering the fit, the notice period, the current and expected package, and why they are open to a move, with the CV behind it.

Result: Clients reply faster because the screening is visible.

  3. A credentials note showing roles closed

A short document naming role types filled, sectors served and typical timelines, ready to send when a panel application comes up.

Result: You can answer an empanelment request the same day.

  4. Mail templates and signatures standardised

Agreed formats for the first approach, the shortlist mail, the interview confirmation and the follow-up, with one signature across the team.

Result: Every consultant sounds like the same firm.

  5. A candidate-facing explanation of your process

A plain page on what happens after a CV is sent, how long each stage takes and what you will never ask a candidate for.

Result: Candidates stop assuming the worst about a consultancy.

  6. Website and profiles brought to one presentation

The same description, photography and specialism on the site, the job portals and every consultant's public profile.

Result: A client checking you finds one firm, not five.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

  • IT and technology staffing agencies
  • Blue-collar and industrial workforce agencies
  • Executive search and leadership hiring firms
  • Contract and temporary staffing agencies
  • Sector-specialist recruitment firms
  • Bulk and volume hiring agencies

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for recruitment agencies

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your database's quality, how client updates are paced through a search, and how your website shows experience in specific roles.

  2. 2

    Fix communication

A structured update cadence for clients and a clear status record for every candidate in an active search.

  3. 3

    Build the database

A verified, actively maintained candidate pipeline organised by skill, so a search does not start from a cold list.

  4. 4

    Bring in client accounts

Visibility with HR managers, referral from past clients, and content that shows real experience in specific role types.

  5. 5

    Convert and retain

Faster shortlist turnaround, tracked repeat business by client, and a placement follow-up that catches an early dropout.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will naming a specialism lose us other work?
Rarely. Clients who trust you still ask for adjacent roles. What you lose is the mandate you were never going to win against a specialist, which was costing your recruiters time anyway.
What should a shortlist actually look like?
One page per candidate with the fit, the notice period, the package position and the reason they are moving. That format alone changes how quickly a client comes back to you.
Do we need to advertise for candidates?
Mostly not. A verified database costs nothing in media, and a fast shortlist depends on it. Paid job ads help for one hard-to-fill role type at a time.
A client already has three agencies on its panel. Can we still get in?
Yes, usually through one role the others are struggling with. We prepare a short note on the roles of that type you have filled, sent to the HR head with a shortlist offer. Winning one hard role opens the panel more often than any presentation.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
