GullySales

Luxury and premium brand retailers · WhatsApp marketing

Let your best client hear about the new arrival before it is on the floor.

WhatsApp marketing for a premium retailer means using WhatsApp Business to send a private preview, a viewing invitation or a service reminder to clients who agreed to receive them. GullySales sets up the profile, the opt-in record and the templates, and keeps the message personal and rare.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For luxury and premium brand retailers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Salespeople use personal phones”

A client's relationship sits on a salesperson's phone, and goes when the salesperson leaves.

  • “A broadcast reads like a bulk offer”

A message that looks like an offer to everyone damages the sense of a private invitation.

  • “Clients are added to groups without asking”

A client finds herself in a store's group with strangers and leaves, annoyed.

What we do

What we deliver for luxury and premium brand retailers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile

A profile with the store name, address, hours, a catalogue of categories and a greeting that fits the store.

    Result: A client sees a well-run business.

  2. A client list with consent

A list of clients who agreed to preview messages, with the date, the topic and how to stop.

Result: You message only those who agreed.

  3. Message templates for previews and viewings

Approved templates for a private preview, a viewing confirmation and a service reminder.

Result: Messages are personal and consistent.

  4. A shared inbox with named owners

A set-up where each client has a named salesperson and a manager can see the chat.

Result: Relationships stay with the store.

  5. Rules for frequency

A rule on how often any client is messaged, and who approves a broadcast.

    Result: Messages remain special.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

A premium retailer must have a few things in place before sending any message, and each protects the client's trust.

A record of agreement
Note how and when each client agreed to receive previews and what for. A number given for a delivery is not agreement to marketing.
A business profile and number
Use a number the store owns, with the name, address and hours. Move client chats off salespeople's personal phones, with the client's knowledge.
Approved message templates
For messages the store starts, WhatsApp needs approved templates. Write preview, viewing and service messages as templates, and check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing.
Who pays for the messages
WhatsApp charges for some business-started messages. Check the current pricing before a campaign, and have a named person set the budget.
An opt-out in every message
Add a line to reply STOP and honour it the same day. A premium client who cannot leave a list tells others.
A human reply path
Every message should lead to a named person. Say who answers, in what hours, and what happens to a message sent late at night.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we use broadcast lists or the business API?
Broadcast lists suit a store messaging a few hundred clients who agreed. The API suits a group sending reminders at volume. Start with the business app, with a clear list, and move when needed.
Can a salesperson keep a client's chat on their own number?
They can, but the relationship belongs to the salesperson in that case. Use the store's number, name the salesperson in the chat and make sure the manager can see it.
Is a WhatsApp group for clients a good idea?
Rarely. Clients usually want a private channel, not a group. A group works for an event such as a trunk show, with a clear end date and the clients' agreement.
What goes in a WhatsApp catalogue for a premium store?
Categories and a few hero pieces, with photographs and a line each. Leave out prices that change or that the brand controls, and say that details follow in a private viewing.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
