Retailers · Content marketing

Write down the buying advice your staff repeat twenty times a day.

Content marketing for a shop is the buying advice people want before they spend: which size, which model, what to check, what the warranty covers. GullySales writes those answers into a few pages and into the replies your staff send on WhatsApp.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For retailers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The same question is asked at the counter all day”

Which size for a six-year-old, which model for a family of four, how to tell the real one. Write it once and the staff stop improvising.

  • “A shop does not need a blog, it needs six pages”

Guides that stay true for years beat a weekly post nobody reads. The stock changes and the advice does not.

  • “Care and warranty advice brings people back”

A shopper who knows how to look after the thing comes back for the next one, and comes to you when it needs service.

  • “Your staff already have the material”

The best buying advice in the shop is in the head of whoever has stood at that counter for ten years, and nobody has written it down.

What we do

What we deliver for retailers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Buying guides for the categories you sell deepest

Which size, which model, what to compare and what people regret buying, written from what your staff are asked every day.

Result: Shoppers arrive knowing what they want from you.

  2. A page on exchange, warranty and service

What can be exchanged, in what period, what the brand warranty covers and where the service actually happens.

Result: The question that stalls a purchase is answered in advance.

  3. Care and upkeep advice for what you stock

How to keep the thing working or looking right, written for the products people most often come back to complain about.

Result: Fewer complaints, and a reason to return to you.

  4. Short videos shot beside the shelf

A salesperson answering one question per video in the shop, filmed on a phone and used on the site, the listing and WhatsApp.

Result: The counter's knowledge reaches people before they visit.

  5. The same answers saved as staff replies

Each guide condensed into a WhatsApp reply, so a question on the phone gets the same answer as the page does.

Result: Nobody has to improvise during a rush.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Questions buyers ask first

What a shopper asks before walking into a shop, and the page or reply that answers it.

Is it genuine, and will I get a GST bill?
An authenticity page. Say which brands you are an authorised dealer for, show what a genuine bill looks like, and explain how a buyer can match the serial number with the warranty card.
Do you have it in stock, or do I wait?
A stock page. Say what is always on the shelf, what you order in and how the customer is told it has arrived. Keep it current, because an out-of-stock item shown as available costs you the visit.
Is it cheaper online?
A plain page on what the shop adds over a marketplace: trying it on, fitting, local service and exchange at the counter. Do not claim lower prices unless the shelf shows it.
Will you deliver and fit it?
A delivery page. List the areas, who fits an AC or mounts a TV, what is charged and what the buyer must prepare at home. Staff can paste the same text into WhatsApp.
Can I pay in instalments?
A payment page naming the cards, UPI and finance partners you accept, and the documents a finance partner asks for. State the terms in the partner's own words and send the customer to it.
Are you open on the festival, and when is the sale?
A short festival note with the opening hours and the offer dates, posted on Maps and sent on WhatsApp before the festival. Put a date on it and take it down after.

Who it is for

This is written for these retailers.

  • Apparel and footwear stores
  • Electronics and appliance retailers
  • Grocery and kirana stores
  • Home decor and furnishing stores
  • Jewellery and gifting retailers
  • Multi-brand outlet stores

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the content marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do shoppers read anything before buying from a shop?
For anything costing real money, yes. They compare on the phone first and arrive with a shortlist. A page that answers their question honestly puts your shop on that list.
Who writes it, when our staff have no time?
We sit with whoever knows the products, write it from what they say, and they check it afterwards. An hour of a senior salesperson's time gives you material that lasts for years.
Should a shop put prices on its pages?
Put a price where it is stable, and a 'from' price with a date where it moves. Shoppers who see no price assume it is high. Where it varies by brand, link to one sheet and keep that sheet dated.
Can we copy the brand's catalogue text?
Avoid it. The same text sits on every dealer's page, search engines treat it as duplicate, and it may breach the brand's terms. Write from the counter instead: what shoppers ask, what you recommend and why.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
