Retailers · Website

A small site that holds your stock, your timings and the road to your door.

A website for a retail store is a small, light site that shows what you sell, when you open and how to reach you, ready to be shared as one link. GullySales builds it to support your Maps listing and your WhatsApp chats, not to replace the shop.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For retailers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The shopper wants three answers and nothing else”

Do you stock it, are you open and how do I get there. A site that opens with a slogan and a slideshow makes the shopper hunt for these. The first screen on a phone should carry all three.

  • “Festival timings change and the site does not”

A page showing last year's hours sends a shopper to a locked shutter on the evening they chose to visit. Special timings need one place to be edited, and the same change must reach the listing and the site.

  • “A website is the link you hand over on WhatsApp”

When a buyer asks for the catalogue, one tidy link beats ten forwarded photographs. The site is the page staff share, the page printed on the bill and the page the listing points to.

  • “An online shop is a separate decision”

Selling online means stock accuracy, packing, delivery and returns. A store that is not ready for those is better served by a catalogue site that sends the shopper to the counter. We lay out what each route costs in work.

What we do

What we deliver for retailers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A mobile-first home page

Store name, address, timings, a call button, a chat button and a map, placed so they show without scrolling.

Result: A shopper reaches you in one tap.

  2. Catalogue pages by product group

Pages for your best-selling lines, with photographs, prices where you want them shown and a prompt to visit or message.

Result: Your stock can be browsed before the visit.

  3. A festive timings block

A single section for special hours, edited in one place and matched to the Maps listing.

Result: Shoppers see the right hours on festival days.

  4. A page for each outlet

Separate address, map and number for every branch, so the nearest one is the one that appears.

Result: Each branch can be found on its own.

  5. Search basics built in

Page titles, descriptions, headings and structured details for a local shop, written in the words shoppers type.

Result: The site is ready to be found for near-me searches.

  6. A way for the owner to edit

A simple way to change timings, photographs and offers without calling a developer.

Result: Updates are done by your own team.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these retailers.

  • Apparel and footwear stores
  • Electronics and appliance retailers
  • Grocery and kirana stores
  • Home decor and furnishing stores
  • Jewellery and gifting retailers
  • Multi-brand outlet stores

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the website work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a website if we have Google Maps and Instagram?
A small one helps. It gives you a page that you own, holds your catalogue and timings, and can be shared in one link. It does not have to sell online to earn its place.
Should the site show prices?
Show them where price is stable and the shopper compares prices. Where prices move daily, show a starting range or invite a message. We decide line by line with you.
Can we add online ordering later?
Yes. We build the site so a shop section can be added when your stock records, packing and delivery are ready. Starting small does not close that door.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
