Roofing contractors · Content marketing

Answer the claim question without ever advising on the claim.

Content marketing for a roofing company answers what homeowners ask before they call: how long a roof lasts, what hail damage looks like, what a warranty actually covers. GullySales writes those answers from your own inspections and leaves insurance advice where it belongs, with the carrier.

A newsstand under a striped awning: three tiers of folded publications racked spine on, one title on the top tier turned to face the street, and a crate of rolled copies at the foot of the stand

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the free audit onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For roofing contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Photographs from your own inspections are the content

A homeowner cannot see bruising or lifted flashing from the driveway. Your inspection pictures, captioned to say what each one means, do more than any article written at a desk.

  • Write about the claim process without advising on it

Homeowners want to know what an adjuster appointment involves and what a supplement is. Explaining the steps is useful, and telling somebody whether to file belongs to their carrier and their own attorney.

  • The twenty-year roof owner is your best reader

Somebody whose roof went on in 2006 is not searching for hail. They are searching whether it is time, and almost nobody writes for them.

What we do

What we deliver for roofing contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A photographed guide to what damage looks like

Bruising, wind lift, failed flashing and worn granules, shot on your own inspections with a caption saying what each one means.

Result: Homeowners understand what you found on their roof.

  2. A roof age and replacement guide

What each material lasts in your climate, the signs a roof is near the end, and what waiting another winter tends to cost.

Result: The twenty-year roof owner has a reason to call now.

  3. A plain explanation of the claim steps

Inspection, adjuster appointment, scope, supplement and scheduling, described as a process, with every decision left to the homeowner and their carrier.

Result: You look knowledgeable without giving advice that is not yours.

  4. Warranty and material comparisons

Architectural shingle against metal, what each manufacturer programme covers, and what your workmanship warranty adds on top.

Result: A homeowner holding three quotes has a basis for choosing.

  5. Everything reused into the estimate and the profile

The same photographs and explanations placed in the proposal, on the Business Profile and in the follow-up emails.

Result: One piece of work shows up in three places.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for roofing contractors

  1. 1

    Assess

The free audit call traces last month's calls and estimates. How many were answered, how many became an inspection, and how many were chased after the estimate went out?

  2. 2

    Fix the phone

An answering and booking routine for storm mornings, a CallRail number on every source, and agreed overlap hours for the call-backs our team makes.

  3. 3

    Rebuild the estimate

A photograph-led proposal, shingle options a homeowner can read, and a follow-up schedule measured in months rather than days.

  4. 4

    Bring the work in

Local Services Ads, the map pack, storm pages for the towns you cover, and a review asked for at the end of every job.

  5. 5

    Keep the street

Past customers, neighbours, Realtors and property managers contacted on a calendar, so a quiet month has something in it.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we publish anything about insurance claims?
Explain the process and stop there. What an inspection covers, what happens at the adjuster appointment, what a supplement is. Whether to file, and what a carrier will approve, sits between the homeowner, their insurer and their own attorney.
What content actually brings calls?
The cost explainer, the roof age guide and a hail damage page carrying your own photographs. Those three earn more calls than a year of seasonal posts. Write them properly and keep them current.
Can you handle our calls the morning after a hail storm?
Within the hours we agree, yes, and that window is settled against your working day before anything starts. Inside that window we take call-backs, book inspections and text homeowners. Nights and weekends stay with your own crew or answering service, and we will say so rather than pretend otherwise.
Will you help us get more insurance claims approved?
No. What a carrier approves sits between the homeowner, their adjuster and their own attorney, and we stay out of it. What we change is your side: the inspection booked fast, the photographs and measurements in one place, and the homeowner hearing from you every few days while the claim moves.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
