GullySales

Roofing contractors · Email marketing

Hundreds of roofs, and no way to reach a single one of them.

Email and text for a roofing company do two things: chase the estimate that went quiet, and bring back the homeowners whose roofs you already built. GullySales rebuilds that list from your job records and runs both programmes with consent recorded before the first message.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For roofing contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Roofing runs on text, and text has rules

Homeowners answer a text and ignore an email, so consent has to be recorded before the first message and honoured the moment they stop it. Getting that wrong is expensive in a way a missed lead is not.

  • A roof you installed has a known age and a warranty

Your records say which house got which shingle in which year. That is a repair list, a gutter list and a maintenance list nobody else can build.

  • The neighbours on that street are on the same list

A roof replaced on one side of a cul-de-sac tells you the other eleven houses are the same age. Most companies never write to a single one.

What we do

What we deliver for roofing contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. The past customer list rebuilt from job records

Every completed roof with the address, the year, the material, the warranty and the neighbours, pulled into AccuLynx, JobNimbus or a sheet.

Result: You can contact every roof you ever installed.

  2. A ninety-day estimate chase across email and text

Dated messages against every quote, with consent recorded, a call scheduled alongside and a reason logged when it ends.

Result: Estimates stop dying quietly in an inbox.

  3. Seasonal reminders to past roofs

An inspection offer before the first freeze or the end of the wet season, aimed at the roofs old enough to need one.

Result: Crews have repair work in the weeks between replacements.

  4. A street programme for neighbours

A message to past customers on a street where a new job has started, and a letter for the houses of the same age nearby.

    Result: One address produces several.

  5. Consent, opt-outs and a monthly count

Consent wording on every form and in the call script, opt-outs honoured immediately, and inspections traced to email and text each month against the audit baseline.

    Result: The list stays usable.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for roofing contractors

  1. 1

    Assess

The free audit call traces last month's calls and estimates. How many were answered, how many became an inspection, and how many were chased after the estimate went out?

  2. 2

    Fix the phone

An answering and booking routine for storm mornings, a CallRail number on every source, and agreed overlap hours for the call-backs our team makes.

  3. 3

    Rebuild the estimate

A photograph-led proposal, shingle options a homeowner can read, and a follow-up schedule measured in months rather than days.

  4. 4

    Bring the work in

Local Services Ads, the map pack, storm pages for the towns you cover, and a review asked for at the end of every job.

  5. 5

    Keep the street

Past customers, neighbours, Realtors and property managers contacted on a calendar, so a quiet month has something in it.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do homeowners open email from a roofer?
For an estimate, a warranty document or a reminder about their own roof, yes. For a newsletter, rarely. Build the programme on the messages a homeowner has a reason to open.
Can we text every lead that comes in?
Only with consent recorded and an easy way to stop. Roofing leads arrive by phone and by form, so the consent wording belongs on the form and in the call script. Your own attorney should confirm how your state treats it.
Can you handle our calls the morning after a hail storm?
Within the hours we agree, yes, and that window is settled against your working day before anything starts. Inside that window we take call-backs, book inspections and text homeowners. Nights and weekends stay with your own crew or answering service, and we will say so rather than pretend otherwise.
Will you help us get more insurance claims approved?
No. What a carrier approves sits between the homeowner, their adjuster and their own attorney, and we stay out of it. What we change is your side: the inspection booked fast, the photographs and measurements in one place, and the homeowner hearing from you every few days while the claim moves.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
