GullySales

SaaS and software companies · Local SEO

Most software companies do not need this, and three kinds do.

Local search matters to a software company in three places: a buyer checking you are a real business, a product bought by companies in one city or state, and hiring. GullySales works out which of the three applies to you and leaves the rest alone.

A market cross in a small town square: a stepped stone cross of four worn tiers standing in a ring of cobbles, a coil of stall rope left on the bottom step, a chalk pitch marked out on the stones and a chalk arrow pointing in from the nearest lane

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For SaaS and software companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Procurement googles your address before the contract

A vendor check wants a registered address, a phone number and a company that has existed for longer than its domain registration.

  • Vertical software is bought by a state, not by the internet

Software for dental practices or roofing firms gets searched with a place attached, because the buyer wants somebody who knows their rules.

  • Your careers page is a local search result

Engineers search for companies in a city, and a company with no address anywhere loses that search to firms half its size.

What we do

What we deliver for SaaS and software companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One address, spelled the same everywhere

Registered address, phone number and legal name matched across your site, your review site profiles, the funding databases and your social accounts.

Result: A vendor check stops turning up three different companies.

  2. A verified Business Profile where you have an office

The listing claimed, the category set to software company, photographs added and hours stated, for the office your team actually works from.

Result: A buyer searching your name finds a real business.

  3. City or state pages only where the product is bought locally

Pages for places where your buyer's own regulations differ, written around those differences rather than one page with the place name swapped.

Result: You rank where the search carries a real rule.

  4. Directory and association listings your buyer reads

The trade associations, chambers and vertical directories a local buyer checks, kept current instead of filled in once at launch.

Result: You appear on the lists your buyer already trusts.

  5. A careers and office page that can be found

Where the team sits, how the company works and what roles are open, written so an engineer searching for companies in that city lands on it.

Result: Hiring stops depending entirely on a job board.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these SaaS and software companies.

  • Seed and Series A B2B SaaS still selling founder-led
  • Bootstrapped vertical SaaS with a small team
  • Product-led companies adding a sales motion
  • Developer tools moving upmarket into team plans
  • Healthcare, fintech and other compliance-heavy software
  • Agencies and services firms productising a platform
  • Marketplaces with a supply side to recruit
  • Companies with a full AE bench and no pipeline to feed it
  • Software companies entering the US from another market

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for SaaS and software companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we trace last quarter's pipeline to its real source, check reply rates and meeting show rate, and look at what happened to inbound signups.

  2. 2

    Stop the inbound leak first

Routing, a first human reply and a call attempt on inbound, because those leads are already paid for and usually the cheapest pipeline in the building.

  3. 3

Build the list and the message

The account list from your closed-won pattern, the sending domains, and a first sequence written around a trigger your prospect would recognise.

  4. 4

    Run outbound and hand over

Sequences worked daily, objections logged, and every qualified meeting handed to your AE with the research already in the CRM record.

  5. 5

    Report on held meetings

Meetings held, cost per meeting and pipeline by source each month, with the sequences that produced nothing retired instead of quietly continuing.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We are fully remote. Does any of this apply?
The address consistency does, because procurement checks it. The rest mostly does not. We would rather tell you that in the free audit than sell you city pages you will never need.
Our product sells nationally. Should we build city pages?
No, unless something about the buyer changes by city. Fifty pages with a place name swapped is what Google calls scaled content, and it drags the rest of the site down with it.
Is this cheaper than hiring an SDR?
Per month, for most companies, yes. The more useful difference is that the work does not stop when one person resigns. You are also not paying for a quarter of ramp before the first call goes out. Put our fee next to the fully loaded seat cost your finance lead already tracks.
Will your team cold call our US prospects?
Where it fits, and we will tell you where it does not. A cold call from somebody who is not on your payroll is a real objection in US mid-market, and pretending otherwise would waste your money. For most companies we lead with email and LinkedIn, book the call, and put your AE or founder on it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
