Solar maintenance companies · Lead generation

Find out which calls become contracts before you pay for more calls.

Lead generation for a solar maintenance company means bringing in rooftop owners who have a problem to fix, and recording where each one came from, so you know which sources produce contracts and which produce one-off calls. GullySales sets up capture for fault calls, WhatsApp photos, society referrals and directory enquiries, and ties each to the visit and the contract that follows.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For solar maintenance companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A fault call and a contract buyer ring the same number”

One wants an engineer today and the other wants a plan next month. Without a note of which, every caller gets the same short reply and the contract buyer is lost.

  • “Directory enquiries are mostly price checks”

Calls from classified sites often ask only the rate for cleaning a few panels, then hang up. Counting them as leads makes the source look better than it is.

  • “Society leads arrive with no name”

A committee member says the society needs a quote, and the enquiry is logged as society with no contact, no roof details and no idea who decides.

What we do

What we deliver for solar maintenance companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Enquiry types defined

Fault, cleaning, AMC, takeover and performance check, each with its own first reply and its own next step.

Result: Every caller is answered for what they actually want.

  2. WhatsApp intake for fault photos

A first message asking for a photo of the display, a screenshot of the monitoring app, the system size and the installer's name.

Result: The engineer sees the fault before the visit is fixed.

  3. A standard reply for directory callers

A reply that explains how a visit is priced and invites a roof visit, sent to every price-check caller and recorded.

Result: Price checkers are separated from owners with a real need.

  4. Source field on every job sheet

One line that records where the owner heard of you, in their words, kept with the roof's address.

Result: The source survives to the contract.

  5. Society and factory contact capture

The role of the caller, who decides, the date of the next committee or review meeting, and the last bill, all written at first contact.

Result: A society enquiry becomes a named person and a date.

  6. A source report

Enquiries by source against visits made and contracts signed, set against the baseline from the audit.

Result: You see which source pays and which only rings.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

The places a solar maintenance enquiry arrives from, and what to record and say on each.

Phone call about a fault
Ask for the inverter's display message, the system size and the installer's name before anything else. Record the locality and book a visit the same day if the roof can be reached.
WhatsApp photo of the inverter or app
Reply asking for the full display and the app's generation graph. Save the photos to the job record so the engineer reads them before leaving.
Google Maps listing
Record Maps as the source and note the locality. Many callers ask about cleaning first, so answer that, then ask what the generation looks like.
IndiaMART or JustDial enquiry
Record which listing it came from. Many are price checks, so say how you price a visit, ask the system size and note whether the caller answers back.
Housing society referral
Log the society, the person who called, the committee's next meeting and who signs. Send a one-page AMC outline the member can hand to the committee.
Installer or electrician passing work
Record who referred and whether the system is theirs. Agree in writing who owns the customer afterwards, so nobody is surprised at renewal.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for solar maintenance companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit call we trace last season's calls. How fast did each fault get a reply, how many quotes went out, and how many contracts renewed?

  2. 2

    Fix the fault call

A set of first-call questions, a visit report, a quote format and a record of every call, visit and quote, kept by roof.

  3. 3

    Build the pages

Pages for each fault, each buyer and each service, a plan page for the AMC and a booking form that takes a photo of the inverter display.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Local search, reviews that name the work done, seasonal advertising, and relationships with electricians, societies and installers.

  5. 5

    Renew and keep

Follow-up on every quote, a dated list of contracts due, and a message to past customers before each season.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we buy solar leads from lead sellers?
Check before you pay: ask whether the lead is exclusive and whether the person already owns a system. Lists built for new installations do not fit maintenance. If you try one, count roof visits and contracts, not calls.
The same owner rings on three numbers. How do we avoid duplicates?
Match on the roof's address, not the phone number. One roof is one record, and the three calls become three notes on it. A society that rings through the secretary, the treasurer and the watchman is also one lead.
What counts as a qualified enquiry for us?
An owner with a system on a roof you can reach, a fault or a lapsed contract, and someone who can say yes. A caller wanting a new installation, or one outside your areas, is passed on or declined. Write the test down so every caller is judged the same way.
How do we count customers who find us offline?
Ask how they heard of you on every call and write the answer in their words. Your van, a sticker on the inverter after a visit and a neighbour's mention are all sources. A column that only says other tells you nothing.
Customers only want cleaning and stop after one visit. How do we sell a contract?
Price the single cleaning on its own, and sell the contract on what a cleaner cannot give: an inspection, readings at each visit and a named engineer for faults. Show a sample visit report before the owner decides. Some owners will only ever want a bucket and a hose, and that is a fair answer.
Can you get us empanelled by inverter or panel makers as a service partner?
No. Empanelment is between your company and the maker, on their terms. We make your company name, address and service areas match across your site, Google and listings, so a maker's helpline or a dealer checking you finds the same business everywhere.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
