Solar maintenance companies · Local SEO

Appear on Maps in the areas where your engineers can reach a roof the same day.

Local SEO for a solar maintenance company means appearing in Google Maps and local results for the areas your engineers visit, even though customers never walk into your office. GullySales sets up your Business Profile as a service-area business, keeps your name and phone the same everywhere, and builds reviews that name the work done.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For solar maintenance companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “You visit roofs but the profile looks like a shop”

A godown address in Peenya shows as if people walk in, or the address is hidden and no areas are listed. Google weighs distance, and an owner in Yelahanka sees whoever is nearer.

  • “Installers' profiles crowd out yours”

Searches for solar near me are won by sellers of new systems who treat service as an afterthought. The categories and service list decide whether Google reads you as upkeep.

  • “Old trading names confuse the map”

A company that began as an installer may still have a listing at the old premises under the old name. Two profiles for one business split reviews and invite suspension.

What we do

What we deliver for solar maintenance companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Service-area setup

The profile set to show or hide the address as your premises allow, with the localities you serve listed and the hours your phone is really answered.

Result: The profile describes the business that turns up on roofs.

  2. Categories and services that say maintenance

A primary category and a service list for cleaning, inspection, inverter repair and AMC, checked against Google's current guidelines.

Result: Google reads you as the company that fixes systems.

  3. Photographs from roofs

Cleaning rounds, inverter swaps and thermography images, with customer permission and without house numbers or faces in the frame.

Result: Owners see real work before they call.

  4. Name, address and phone tidied across listings

The same registered name and number on Google, JustDial and IndiaMART, with old listings merged or removed.

Result: One business, one identity, wherever it is listed.

  5. Answers and posts on the profile

Replies to the questions owners ask on the profile and posts showing what the season brings, such as the first cleaning rounds before summer.

Result: The profile reads as active and answers the doubts before the call.

  6. Calls from Maps counted

Calls and direction requests from the profile sorted into faults, cleaning and AMC enquiries, against the baseline from the audit.

Result: You see which areas Maps actually brings.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What Google weighs here

How Google picks which maintenance company to show on the map, and what you do about each part.

Relevance: do you read as upkeep?
Choose the primary category and the services for maintenance and repair, not installation. Compare your profile with the ones above you and note which words they use.
Distance: where the searcher stands
List the localities your engineers reach on the same day. A profile claiming a whole state shows nowhere near the owner, so start with where your last jobs were.
Prominence: how well known you are
Reviews that name the work, mentions in society pages and listings on sites such as JustDial and IndiaMART all count. Ask serviced customers to describe the job, within the platform's current rules.
Directories that matter here
Claim Google first, then JustDial, IndiaMART and Sulekha, where owners look for services. Merge or remove listings under an old trading name.
Name, address and phone must match
Write the registered name, address and one main number the same way on the profile, website, invoices and each listing. A tracking number goes second, not in place of the main one.
Visitable address or service area
Decide whether a customer can walk into your office. If not, hide the address and list areas. Read Google's current guidelines before changing it, as edits can trigger a review of the profile.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for solar maintenance companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit call we trace last season's calls. How fast did each fault get a reply, how many quotes went out, and how many contracts renewed?

  2. 2

    Fix the fault call

A set of first-call questions, a visit report, a quote format and a record of every call, visit and quote, kept by roof.

  3. 3

    Build the pages

Pages for each fault, each buyer and each service, a plan page for the AMC and a booking form that takes a photo of the inverter display.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Local search, reviews that name the work done, seasonal advertising, and relationships with electricians, societies and installers.

  5. 5

    Renew and keep

Follow-up on every quote, a dated list of contracts due, and a message to past customers before each season.

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we show our address if customers never visit?
Show it only if the place is staffed during the hours you state and someone can walk in. Otherwise hide the address and list the areas you serve. Google's guidelines on this change, so read the current version first.
We share a godown with another firm. Will that cause trouble?
It can. Two businesses at one address are sometimes treated as duplicates or merged. Give yours its own name on the board, its own phone number and its own invoices, and check Google's current rules on shared premises.
We have a second branch. Does it get its own profile?
Only if it has its own staffed address and phone. Otherwise keep one profile and list both areas. A profile for a rented desk nobody sits at risks suspension, and a suspension takes the reviews with it.
A rival has put up a listing with our company name and a wrong number. What now?
Report it through Google's suggest an edit or its reporting route, with proof that the business is yours, such as registration papers and a bill. Removal is Google's decision and cannot be promised. Keep your own listing complete while you wait.
Customers only want cleaning and stop after one visit. How do we sell a contract?
Price the single cleaning on its own, and sell the contract on what a cleaner cannot give: an inspection, readings at each visit and a named engineer for faults. Show a sample visit report before the owner decides. Some owners will only ever want a bucket and a hose, and that is a fair answer.
Can you get us empanelled by inverter or panel makers as a service partner?
No. Empanelment is between your company and the maker, on their terms. We make your company name, address and service areas match across your site, Google and listings, so a maker's helpline or a dealer checking you finds the same business everywhere.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
