Solar maintenance companies · WhatsApp marketing

Turn the inverter photos owners already send you into booked visits.

WhatsApp marketing for a solar maintenance company means answering fault photos from one business number and sending permitted messages to owners who asked to hear from you, such as visit confirmations, cleaning round notices and renewal notes. GullySales sets up the business profile, the templates and the opt-in record, and keeps engineers' personal numbers out of it.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily, which gets read faster than email or SMS. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For solar maintenance companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Fault photos land on an engineer's personal phone”

The owner sends a picture to whichever engineer they met last. When he is on a roof nobody answers, and when he leaves the company the history leaves with him.

  • “A society group is not a broadcast list”

Adding a society's residents to a group without asking brings complaints and blocks, and the committee may remove you. A group works when the committee asks for it.

  • “Every message goes to everyone”

Contract holders receive offers to buy a contract, and one-off cleaning customers receive renewal notes for plans they never had. Mixed lists teach owners to ignore you.

What we do

What we deliver for solar maintenance companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One business number and profile

A company number with the registered name, address, hours and a list of services, used by the whole desk and engineers from their own phones.

Result: The customer sees one company, and the history stays with it.

  2. Opt-in captured on the job sheet

A tick box and a line at the first visit saying the owner agrees to messages about visits and renewals, saved with the date.

Result: You can show when and how each number was added.

  3. Message templates for each job

Visit confirmation, engineer on the way, report ready and renewal due, written for approval under WhatsApp's current business policy.

Result: Routine messages are ready and read as your company.

  4. A shared inbox for fault photos

Who reads incoming photos, who replies and how the job is handed to an engineer, written in one sheet the desk can follow.

Result: No fault photo sits unread on one person's phone.

  5. Lists by customer type

AMC holders, one-off cleaning customers, lapsed contracts and societies kept apart, with a different message for each.

Result: Each owner hears only what is relevant.

  6. Opt-out and a person to reply

A stop reply that is honoured on the record the same day, and a named person who answers questions during stated hours.

Result: Owners can leave easily and reach a human.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a solar maintenance company needs before it sends a WhatsApp message to a customer list.

An opt-in you can show
Add a tick box on the first-visit job sheet saying the owner agrees to messages about visits and renewals. Store the date and the number with the customer record, not on a loose paper.
A business profile that matches you
Use one company number with the registered name, address and service hours, matching your website and Maps listing. Engineers reply from it, not from personal numbers.
Templates for the visits
Write templates for visit confirmation, engineer on the way, report ready and renewal due. Check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing, as template rules and charges change.
Who pays for a message
Business-started conversations carry a charge set by WhatsApp. Read the current price card before you plan volumes, and note what each job type costs you in messages.
An opt-out that works
Add a line to each template telling the owner they can reply to stop. Mark the record the same day and never message that number again except to answer them.
A person to reply to
Name who reads incoming photos and the hours the desk is staffed. State those hours in the profile, so an owner sending a photo late in the evening knows when to expect an answer.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for solar maintenance companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit call we trace last season's calls. How fast did each fault get a reply, how many quotes went out, and how many contracts renewed?

  2. 2

    Fix the fault call

A set of first-call questions, a visit report, a quote format and a record of every call, visit and quote, kept by roof.

  3. 3

    Build the pages

Pages for each fault, each buyer and each service, a plan page for the AMC and a booking form that takes a photo of the inverter display.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Local search, reviews that name the work done, seasonal advertising, and relationships with electricians, societies and installers.

  5. 5

    Renew and keep

Follow-up on every quote, a dated list of contracts due, and a message to past customers before each season.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is a broadcast list enough, or do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
A broadcast list only reaches people who have saved your number, and suits a small customer base. The API allows approved templates, several agents on one number and a record of messages, with charges set by WhatsApp. Check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing before choosing.
Can we start a WhatsApp group for each society we serve?
Only if the committee asks for it and residents join on their own. Keep it to visit dates and visit reports, with a society admin. A group you create and fill yourself invites complaints, so ask the committee first.
Our engineers use their own numbers with customers. Does it matter?
Yes, for the history. The chat goes with the engineer, and the customer's photos sit on a personal phone. Give the team one business number they can use from their phones, so the customer sees one name and you keep the conversation.
Should we put a catalogue on WhatsApp?
Yes, as a list of services, not products: a cleaning visit, an inspection, an AMC, an inverter replacement. Describe each in a line and say what is priced after a visit. A catalogue of parts with prices invites price-only chats.
Customers only want cleaning and stop after one visit. How do we sell a contract?
Price the single cleaning on its own, and sell the contract on what a cleaner cannot give: an inspection, readings at each visit and a named engineer for faults. Show a sample visit report before the owner decides. Some owners will only ever want a bucket and a hose, and that is a fair answer.
Can you get us empanelled by inverter or panel makers as a service partner?
No. Empanelment is between your company and the maker, on their terms. We make your company name, address and service areas match across your site, Google and listings, so a maker's helpline or a dealer checking you finds the same business everywhere.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
