Solar maintenance companies · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the fault a rooftop owner searches, not for the word solar.

Search engine optimisation (SEO) for a solar maintenance company means appearing when a rooftop owner searches for a fault, a cleaning round or an annual maintenance contract, and not for solar panels in general. GullySales builds one page for each of those searches and keeps installation wording off them. The searcher already owns a system, and the page speaks to that.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For solar maintenance companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The big solar sites own the word solar”

Searches for solar panels bring up installers and the scheme portal. A maintenance company wins on searches only an owner types, such as an inverter showing a fault or panel cleaning for an apartment.

  • “A fault search needs an answer before a pitch”

Someone typing inverter not working wants to know what is safe to check first. A page that opens with a quote form loses them to one that says what to look at and when to call an engineer.

  • “One page called services covers nothing”

Cleaning, AMC, inverter repair and thermography share a single page, so none of them ranks for its own search. Each is a different buyer with a different worry.

What we do

What we deliver for solar maintenance companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Fault pages by symptom

A page for each fault owners describe in plain words, with what to check from the ground and when to stop and book a visit.

Result: The owner reads a straight answer and then calls the company that gave it.

  2. Pages for home, society and factory buyers

Cleaning and AMC pages written separately for a villa owner, a housing society and a plant manager, each stating what a visit covers.

Result: Each buyer finds the page that answers their question.

  3. A page for systems whose installer has gone

What a first inspection records, what you can service and what depends on the original warranty, written for owners who search with no brand in mind.

Result: These owners find a company willing to look at their system.

  4. Pages for the localities you reach

Pages for the layouts and towns where your engineers go, naming the kinds of roof there, such as villas in Whitefield or society terraces in Hadapsar.

Result: An owner searching their own area finds you with your reach stated honestly.

  5. Titles and headings reworded for upkeep

The home page and titles rewritten so a maintenance search is not answered with an installation pitch.

Result: Your pages read as the service company you are.

  6. Search enquiries tagged by type

Calls and forms from search recorded as fault, cleaning, AMC or takeover, against the baseline from the audit.

Result: You see whether search brings contracts or one-off repairs.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a rooftop owner types when the system underperforms, and the page that answers it.

solar inverter showing fault code
A fault page. Say what the owner can safely check from the ground, such as the display and the app, and when to stop and book a visit. Never ask them to open the inverter or touch wiring.
solar panel cleaning service for apartments
A society page. State how the roof is reached, how water is arranged, whether you work while residents are home, and what the committee signs as proof of the visit.
solar generation dropped suddenly
A diagnosis page. List what you check in order: shading, dirt, inverter, string, meter. Offer a performance check visit and show what the report contains.
solar AMC for housing society
A contract page. Set out what a visit includes, what is billed separately such as parts, and whom the committee calls for a fault between visits.
solar installer closed who will service my system
A takeover page. Explain what a first inspection records, that the warranty may sit with the installer or the maker, and what you will and will not take on.
solar thermography inspection for factory
A page for plant managers. Describe the inspection, how hotspots appear in the report and who is expected to act on it, usually the head of maintenance.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for solar maintenance companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit call we trace last season's calls. How fast did each fault get a reply, how many quotes went out, and how many contracts renewed?

  2. 2

    Fix the fault call

A set of first-call questions, a visit report, a quote format and a record of every call, visit and quote, kept by roof.

  3. 3

    Build the pages

Pages for each fault, each buyer and each service, a plan page for the AMC and a booking form that takes a photo of the inverter display.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Local search, reviews that name the work done, seasonal advertising, and relationships with electricians, societies and installers.

  5. 5

    Renew and keep

Follow-up on every quote, a dated list of contracts due, and a message to past customers before each season.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a separate page for each inverter brand?
Only for brands you service and can name engineers for. A brand page that promises repairs you cannot do brings calls you turn down. Start with the makes that fill your job sheets and say plainly which ones you do not touch.
Should we write a blog on solar problems?
Yes, on the questions your technicians hear on every call, written from your own job sheets. Posts copied from a maker's manual add nothing, because the manual already ranks. Pick one real fault and describe what the engineer found.
Are locality pages worth it for a service company?
Only for areas you can reach on the same day as a call. A page for a town where the first visit would take most of a day brings enquiries you answer late, and owners remember that.
Can we copy the fault guides from inverter makers' sites?
No. Their pages already rank, and copied text gives Google no reason to show yours. Write in your own words and keep each step to what an owner can do safely from the ground. Anything touching wiring stays with a licensed electrician.
Customers only want cleaning and stop after one visit. How do we sell a contract?
Price the single cleaning on its own, and sell the contract on what a cleaner cannot give: an inspection, readings at each visit and a named engineer for faults. Show a sample visit report before the owner decides. Some owners will only ever want a bucket and a hose, and that is a fair answer.
Can you get us empanelled by inverter or panel makers as a service partner?
No. Empanelment is between your company and the maker, on their terms. We make your company name, address and service areas match across your site, Google and listings, so a maker's helpline or a dealer checking you finds the same business everywhere.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
