Solar maintenance companies · Reputation management

Reply to the review that says the cleaning made no difference to generation.

Reputation management for a solar maintenance company means reading and answering reviews from people who cannot see what you did on their roof, and fixing what those reviews reveal. GullySales prepares a reply for each kind of review and sends the real faults they point to back to your service desk.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For solar maintenance companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The cleaner is blamed for the weather”

A review says generation did not rise after cleaning, when the sky was cloudy for a week. Without a reading taken at the visit, you have nothing to answer with.

  • “The old installer's bad name lands on you”

Owners left by their installer review any solar company with the same anger. You inherit the tone, even when your visit was the first useful one.

  • “An engineer named in a review holds your reputation”

A review that praises or blames one engineer by name sends the next customer asking for him. When he leaves, so do those calls.

What we do

What we deliver for solar maintenance companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Reply templates by kind of review

One reply for each kind of review you receive, leaving room for the real detail of the visit.

Result: Replies read as written for that customer.

  2. Visit record as evidence

A copy of the report, readings and photos attached to the job, so a disputed review can be answered from the record.

Result: You answer with what was found, not with defence.

  3. A call-back route before it becomes a review

A way for an owner who says the fault has returned to reach a named person on the same day.

    Result: Complaints reach you first.

  4. Profile watching

Google, JustDial and Facebook checked for new reviews, with a named person who replies, in the reviewer's language.

    Result: No review waits unanswered.

  5. A fix log

Reviews that point to a real problem, such as a missed visit or damaged roof sealant, listed with an owner for each fix.

Result: Reviews change how the team works.

  6. A note on staff names

A rule for how engineers are mentioned in replies and how bookings go through the desk.

Result: Customers book the company, not one person.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to do with each review

The kinds of review a maintenance company gets, and how to reply and what to fix inside.

Generation did not rise after cleaning
Reply with the date, the readings before and after, and the weather that day if you noted it. Offer a re-check. Inside, record a reading at every visit so the next reply has facts.
Roof leaked or panel damaged after the visit
Apologise once, say you will inspect, and name who will call back. Check the job sheet and photos for how the roof was reached, and change the method if it was the cause.
The engineer did not turn up
Reply with an honest note of what went wrong in the booking and the new date. Inside, find out whether the visit was never logged or logged and missed. Both need a fix.
Praise that names the engineer
Thank the owner by company name and tell the engineer. Do not let the name become the way to book you, because bookings should go through the desk.
Anger at the original installer, posted on you
Reply politely that you did not install the system, say what you can service and point to your first inspection. Never run down the other firm by name.
A review from someone you never served
Reply that no visit is found under that name and invite a call. Report it through the platform. Removal is the platform's decision, so never promise it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for solar maintenance companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit call we trace last season's calls. How fast did each fault get a reply, how many quotes went out, and how many contracts renewed?

  2. 2

    Fix the fault call

A set of first-call questions, a visit report, a quote format and a record of every call, visit and quote, kept by roof.

  3. 3

    Build the pages

Pages for each fault, each buyer and each service, a plan page for the AMC and a booking form that takes a photo of the inverter display.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Local search, reviews that name the work done, seasonal advertising, and relationships with electricians, societies and installers.

  5. 5

    Renew and keep

Follow-up on every quote, a dated list of contracts due, and a message to past customers before each season.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we ask customers for a review after a visit?
Yes, after the work is done, to every customer, in your own words. Do not offer a discount or gift for a review, and do not ask only the happy ones. Check each platform's current rules before you start.
A customer wrote in Kannada. Should we reply in English?
Reply in the language of the review, briefly, with a name and a number. A Hindi or Tamil review gets the same. An owner who wrote in their own language wanted to be answered in it.
A review names our engineer unfairly. Can we get it removed?
Only if it breaks the platform's content rules, and removal is the platform's decision. Reply politely with what the visit record shows. Speak to the engineer in private and keep the reply about the company.
What if a reviewer is not our customer at all?
Reply once that you can find no visit under their name and invite them to call with the address. Flag the review to the platform if it still looks wrong. A rival or a dismissed cleaner is possible, but accuse nobody in public.
Customers only want cleaning and stop after one visit. How do we sell a contract?
Price the single cleaning on its own, and sell the contract on what a cleaner cannot give: an inspection, readings at each visit and a named engineer for faults. Show a sample visit report before the owner decides. Some owners will only ever want a bucket and a hose, and that is a fair answer.
Can you get us empanelled by inverter or panel makers as a service partner?
No. Empanelment is between your company and the maker, on their terms. We make your company name, address and service areas match across your site, Google and listings, so a maker's helpline or a dealer checking you finds the same business everywhere.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
