Auto parts and accessories dealers · Branding

Give the counter a name a mechanic remembers under a lifted car.

Branding for a parts dealer is not a logo exercise. It is whether your shop name, your bill, your WhatsApp display and your map listing all say the same thing, and whether they say you sell genuine stock. GullySales settles the name and the claim, then puts them on everything a customer touches.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For auto parts and accessories dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Your shop has three different names already”

One on the board, another on the bill book and a third on Maps. The mechanic saves whichever he sees and cannot find you later.

  • “The board is read at thirty kilometres an hour”

Brands and services in large letters do more than a stylish logo nobody can make out from the road.

  • “A printed bill is a trust document in this trade”

Warranty terms and the brand's own verification note on the invoice answer the fake-part worry before it is spoken.

What we do

What we deliver for auto parts and accessories dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One name and one number on everything

The board, the bill book, the rubber stamp, the WhatsApp display, the map listing and the delivery bag, all corrected to the same spelling and the same contact number.

Result: People can find you again a year later.

  2. A shop board that names brands and services

A board layout showing the brands you are authorised for and the services you fit, legible from the road, with the number large enough to photograph.

Result: Passing drivers know what you do before they stop.

  3. An invoice that carries the warranty in writing

A bill layout with GST details, the brand and part number, the warranty terms and the claim process printed on it.

Result: The buyer has proof, and you have fewer arguments.

  4. A WhatsApp presence that looks like a business

A business profile with the shop name, address, hours and a catalogue of fast movers, rather than a personal number with a family photograph.

Result: A first-time mechanic takes the counter seriously.

  5. Your delivery boy carrying your name

A shirt, a bag and a delivery slip in the same colours and name as the board, since in the counter trade he is the person garages see most.

Result: The garage remembers your shop, not just the parts.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Positioning in one sentence

The sentence an auto parts counter fills in so a mechanic remembers it under a lifted car.

We stock [makes and parts] for [garages or owners] in [area], and the buyer gets [one thing] that the next counter does not.

Who it is for
Name the person at the counter: the garage mechanic, the fleet owner, the two-wheeler owner. A mechanic wants the right part in hand; an owner wants advice. Pick the one you serve most.
What you do
Say which makes and part families you stock deep, such as Maruti and Hyundai brakes and suspension, two-wheeler consumables, tyres. Stocking a few makes deeply beats stocking everything thinly.
What a buyer gets that the next counter does not
Pick one habit: the part number checked against the vehicle before the sale, a bill that carries brand and batch, an exchange for a wrong fit. Every counter hand should do it.
The proof you can show
Show authorisation letters from the brands you stock, GST invoices from the source and genuine packaging on the shelf. Put them on the wall and the listing, not only when a customer doubts you.
Words counters overuse and mechanics ignore
Strike 'all parts available', 'genuine and original' and 'best price'. Replace them with the makes you stock, the brands you hold authorisation for and the makes you can source.
The name and tagline test
A mechanic should be able to find the name on a phone and call it across a workshop. Say it with the area. Keep brand logos you do not own off the main sign.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the branding work runs

  1. 1

    Interview customers and team

We talk to real buyers, won and lost, and to people inside the business who deal with customers daily.

  2. 2

    Review the competitive field

We look at how the nearest competitors present themselves so the position is not accidentally identical.

  3. 3

    Draft the position

A first version of the positioning statement and messaging pillars is written and checked against what customers actually said.

  4. 4

    Test it against real conversations

The draft is tried out in a real sales call or two before it is finalised, since a position that does not survive a real conversation needs rework.

  5. 5

    Hand over the rollout brief

The final position, pillars and not-for list are documented for your team and any agency to apply consistently.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Our shop is named after the owner. Should we change it?
No. Old names carry trust in this market. Fix the spelling everywhere, add what you sell beside it, and leave the name alone.
Can we use brand logos on our board?
As an authorised or stocking dealer, usually yes, and several brands supply the artwork. Check each brand's dealer rules before printing, because signage terms differ.
Should the tyre side and the spare parts side share one name?
Usually yes, with two clearly labelled counters. One name builds recall, and the mechanic who buys parts also sends customers for tyres. Use a separate name only if tyres run as a different business with a different owner, premises or brand authorisation.
Does a mechanic care how the counter looks?
A mechanic cares about getting the right part without a wait, but the look signals that the stock is organised. Clear shelf labels by make, a bill with your name and a bag with your number are what he sees. Fix those before repainting the board.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
