Used car dealers · Lead generation
Write down every way a buyer reaches you, so a portal lead does not outweigh the walk-in.
Lead generation for a used car dealer is getting a named buyer interested in a named car, through portals, the map, search ads, WhatsApp, referrals and the board at the gate. The work is as much recording each source as finding more of them. GullySales sets up the register, the source tags and the reply routine so you can see which source brought a sale.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means
Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For used car dealers
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“One buyer enquires on three portals and gets three calls”
A buyer who clicks the same car on three sites appears as three leads. Without a register that joins them, you call him three times and count three leads. For example, a dealer with one hatchback listed on two portals gets an enquiry from each, and both come from the same mobile number.
“Walk-ins are not recorded, so they are not counted”
The man who stops at the gate because of the board is a lead. If the register holds only portal enquiries, you cannot compare one source with another.
“Bought lists produce wasted calls”
A list of people who once enquired anywhere is not a list of buyers for your cars. The money is better spent on people who looked at cars on your lot.
What we do
What we deliver for used car dealers.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
One enquiry register for every source
A single sheet or CRM where portal, phone, WhatsApp, walk-in and referral enquiries are entered with the car, the buyer's number and the time.
Result: Every buyer who asked about a car is in one place.
A source tag on every enquiry
A short list of sources, agreed with your staff, so each enquiry carries one, including the board at the gate and the brokers who send buyers.
Result: You can see which source brings a visit and which brings only calls.
A rule for duplicates
Matching on mobile number and car, with one record per buyer listing every source and every car he looked at.
Result: He gets one call that mentions all of them.
A reply routine by source
What is sent and who calls for a portal enquiry, a missed call, a WhatsApp message and a walk-in, written down and shared with the desk.
Result: No source is handled by whoever happens to be free.
A qualifying note on each buyer
Three answers written in the register: the car or budget, when he wants to buy, and whether he needs a loan or has a car to exchange.
Result: You call first the buyer who is closest to a decision.
A source-by-source report against the baseline
Enquiries, test drives and sales by source, set against the baseline recorded before work starts.
Result: You know where the next rupee of effort belongs.
How the result is measured
- Enquiries generated
- Cost per enquiry
- Enquiries by source
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Where enquiries come from
The ways a used car buyer reaches a dealer, what to record and how to reply.
- Portal enquiry on a car portal or marketplace
- Record the portal, the car and the time it arrived. Reply with photographs and the service history, then call. Call the buyer once, and only after the message has gone.
- Phone call from a map or an ad
- Write the caller's number, the car he asked about and how he found you. If the call was missed, ring back the same day, since the next dealer is one tap away.
- WhatsApp message from the board or a status
- Save the number to the register and note which board or status it came from. Reply with the car, price and visiting hours, and ask whether he has a car to exchange.
- Walk-in from the road
- Take his name, number and the car he stopped at before he leaves, and enter it in the register. Ring him the next day about that car or a similar one.
- Referral from a past buyer or a broker
- Record who sent him. Tell the referrer the car was shown, if he agrees to be told, and keep any thanks within your own rules and the law.
- Exchange and sell-my-car enquiry
- Record the car he wants to sell and the one he wants to buy. This enquiry gives you stock and a buyer at once, so book a valuation visit first.

How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the lead generation work runs
- 1
Understand your capacity
We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.
- 2
Audit current sources
We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.
- 3
Strategise the channel mix
Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.
- 4
Implement capture and follow-up
Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.
- 5
Measure and optimise
We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.
Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.
#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.
