Used car dealers · Video marketing

Walk round the car on camera and show the buyer what the photographs leave out.

Video marketing for a used car dealer means short walk-around films of each car and short talks by the person who sells them, which answer the doubt a buyer has about condition before he drives over. GullySales plans the shots around the cars you hold and puts each video where the buyer already looks.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What video marketing means

Video marketing is using short videos, such as a product demonstration or a customer walkthrough, to explain your business on social media, your website and Google listings. GullySales scripts, shoots and edits these videos around the questions buyers ask before they visit or call.

For used car dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A walk-around shows what a photograph hides”

Panel gaps, the underside, the engine bay and the odometer are what buyers ask about. A video that shows them, flaws included, makes the car believable before the visit.

  • “Nobody films the paperwork”

The RC, the insurance and the service book decide trust, and few dealers show them on camera. A short video of the file for each car answers the question buyers keep asking.

  • “A film of the whole yard answers no buyer”

A long shot of the lot with music is pleasant and says nothing about any car. One car, one video and one reason to visit is what a buyer watches.

What we do

What we deliver for used car dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A walk-around for every car, shot the same way

A fixed order of shots: outside, inside, the odometer, the engine bay and the flaws, so every car is filmed the same way by anyone on the lot.

Result: A buyer compares your cars without guessing what was left out.

  2. A short video of the file for each car

The RC, insurance and service book shown on camera with the owner's name and address covered, and the number of owners said aloud.

Result: The question about history is answered before it is asked.

  3. A film of how you check a car before it goes on sale

What you inspect and in what order, said by the person who does it, with a sample condition note on screen.

Result: A sceptical buyer sees the check, not a promise.

  4. A talk from the person buyers meet

A short piece to camera from the owner or senior salesman on what he looks for in a used car and who should not buy from him.

Result: The buyer meets the dealer before he drives over.

  5. Videos cut for each platform and placed on the car's page

The same walk-around cut for a reel, a status and the stock page, with subtitles and the call or WhatsApp link at the end.

Result: The video is where the buyer is looking.

  6. Videos tied to enquiries

A note in the register of enquiries that mention a video, set against the baseline taken before filming began.

Result: You count messages and visits, not views.

How the result is measured

  • Views
  • Watch time
  • Enquiries traced to video

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Videos worth making

The videos a used car buyer actually watches, and what each should show.

The walk-around of one car
Film the car outside, then inside, then the odometer and the engine bay, and show every scratch. Put it on the car's page and in the listing. The action wanted is a visit or a call.
The file on camera
Show the RC, the insurance, the service book and the key, and say how many owners the car has had. Cover the owner's name and address. The action wanted is a message asking to see the car.
How we check a car before it goes on sale
Show what you inspect, in the order you do it, in the language buyers speak, and name no certifying body unless it inspected the car. The action wanted is a call.
The salesman or the owner talking
A short piece from the person buyers meet, saying what he looks for in a used car and who should not buy from him. A buyer trusts a dealer who says no.
A handover, with permission
Film the delivery only if the buyer agrees before you start, and keep his plate and papers out of frame. Ask him to say in his own words how the visit went.
What not to film
Do not film a car you have not inspected, use a clip of another car or cut out the flaws. Do not show a customer's face or documents without permission.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the video marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Plan the distribution

We agree exactly where each video will live before booking a single shoot.

  2. 2

    Script and shot list

A short script or shot list is prepared so the day of filming has a clear purpose.

  3. 3

    Film on location

Filming happens at your premises, scheduled to minimise disruption to your working day.

  4. 4

    Edit for each platform

Footage is cut into the formats agreed at the planning stage, not a single version stretched to fit everywhere.

  5. 5

    Publish and track

Videos go live where planned, with views and enquiries tracked from that point.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we film with a phone?
Yes. A steady phone in daylight is enough for a walk-around, and the sound of the yard reads as honest. Wipe the lens, film the whole car before the details and keep each video to one car.
How long should a car video be?
As long as it takes to show the car outside and in, the odometer and the file, and no longer. Put the key fact in the first few seconds and add subtitles, since many people watch on a phone with the sound off.
Can we film a customer taking delivery of his car?
Only with his clear permission, asked before you film. Keep the number plate and his papers out of the frame and tell him where the video will appear. If he says no, film the car alone. Keep the permission in writing or in a message.
Is the music in a video a problem?
Use music only from a licensed source, or none. A popular film song can bring a copyright notice and the video is taken down. Platforms offer music that businesses may use, but check each platform's current rules.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
