Used car dealers · Website

Build the site around the cars on the lot, so a buyer can see one and ring.

Website development for a used car dealer means a stock site where every car has its own page, honest details and a way to call, message or book a visit. It replaces a page of logos and a phone number. GullySales builds a site where the stock is kept current by the lot's own staff and a sold car is marked sold.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For used car dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The stock list is updated when somebody remembers”

A site showing cars sold last month turns a buyer away. The stock has to change when the car is sold, made by the person who sold it, in one step.

  • “The photographs repeat the portals”

Buyers open the dealer's site to see what the portal pictures leave out. If the same few pictures appear, the site adds nothing. Show the rest of the car.

  • “The phone number is buried”

On a phone the buyer must see a call button and a WhatsApp link without scrolling. A site that asks him to fill in a form loses the buyer who searches in the evening.

What we do

What we deliver for used car dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for every car, built from one stock entry

One record per car feeding its page, with registration year, kilometres, owner number, insurance, photographs and a condition note.

Result: Every car on the site has the details a buyer asks for.

  2. A sold marker the lot can set itself

A simple way for the staff to mark a car sold or add a new one, without a call to a developer.

Result: The site matches the lot.

  3. A call and WhatsApp button on every page

Buttons for the phone and the chat, fixed on the screen, with the lot's hours beside them.

Result: The buyer reaches a person from the page he is on.

  4. A page on finance and exchange

The lenders you work with, the documents they ask for, and a way to send a photograph of the old car for a valuation.

Result: The loan and the old car stop being a reason to delay.

  5. A page on how you check the cars

What you inspect before a car goes on sale and what the condition note contains, with a sample.

Result: A sceptical buyer reads your method before he reads your price.

  6. Photographs sized for mobile data

Pictures prepared so a page loads on an ordinary phone connection, with the heavy files kept off the first screen.

Result: The page opens before the buyer gives up.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What the page must show

What a buyer looks for on a used car dealer's page before he drives over.

Registration year, kilometres and owner number
Put them at the top of the car's page, in the same order every time. A buyer compares these first, and hunting for them costs you the visit.
The condition, flaws included
Show the dent, the repainted panel and the worn tyre in photographs, with a plain note. A buyer who sees it on screen does not feel cheated at the lot.
Insurance, RC and loan status
Say whether insurance is valid, whether the RC is in the seller's name and whether any loan on the car is closed. Procedures differ by state, so say the lot will explain the transfer.
Price and what it includes
State the price and say whether transfer charges, insurance and any warranty are in it. A buyer leaves a page where the price is on request.
Test drive and visit booking
A button to book a time, a map pin on the gate and the day the lot is shut. Offer a call or a message as well as a form.
Finance and exchange
Say which lenders you work with and what documents they ask for, and invite a photograph of the old car for a valuation. Quote no rate.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the website work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need our own website if we are on the portals?
Yes. The portals own the buyer's attention and put a rival's cars beside yours. Your own site is where you control the pictures, the price and the story, and where you can send buyers from the map, the board and WhatsApp.
Our buyers speak Kannada, Hindi and English. Which language goes on the site?
Put the home page, the car pages and the contact details in the language the salesman uses at the counter, and keep English for the specifications. Have a person translate it, and someone at the lot read it before it goes up.
Who should own the domain?
You, registered in the dealership's name with an email address you control, not the designer's or a staff member's. Ask for the login in writing. If the developer holds it, a dispute can leave you without a site.
How do we keep the stock current without calling a developer?
Choose a build where the lot's staff add a car and mark it sold themselves, from a simple form or sheet that the site reads. If an update means a phone call to a developer, it will not be done, and the site will show sold cars.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
