Banks · Lead management
Get the online enquiry to the right branch before the customer walks into another.
Lead management for a bank is what happens to an enquiry between the form and the branch: where it is routed, which relationship manager owns it, what is recorded at each step and where it stops. GullySales sets the routing rules and the stages, so every enquiry has a name against it.
A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What lead management means
Lead management is keeping every enquiry recorded, assigned and followed up in one place instead of scattered across notebooks, phones and individual memory. GullySales sets up this record so no enquiry is forgotten between the first message and the final decision.
Last updated 5 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.
For banks
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“Routing needs the pincode and the product, not one of them”
A home loan enquiry from an address the branch does not lend against sits with a branch that cannot act. The rule has to send it to the branch that serves the pincode and the desk that handles that product.
“An enquiry with no owner belongs to nobody by Monday”
A form filled at nine on Saturday night drops into a shared inbox. Put a named relationship manager against every lead as it arrives, and write the rule for who takes it while he is on leave.
“The handover is where the customer repeats himself and leaves”
A trader who explained his turnover and his existing loan to the call centre should not be asked again at the counter. What was captured on the first call travels with the lead, or the second conversation starts from nothing.
“Record the no, not only the yes”
A lead closed as not eligible teaches you more than one that went quiet. Without a reason written against each closed enquiry, nobody can tell a rate problem from a follow-up problem.
What we do
What we deliver for banks.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Routing rules by pincode, product and branch
A written rule sending each enquiry to the branch serving that address and the desk handling that product, with a fallback for the ones that fit neither.
Result: An enquiry reaches somebody who can act on it.
A named owner on every lead, with a cover rule
Each enquiry assigned to a relationship manager as it arrives, and a stated rule for reassignment when he is on leave or moves branch.
Result: No lead waits in a shared inbox to be adopted.
One set of stages from enquiry to disbursement
Stages the branch and the loan desk both use, such as new, contacted, documents pending, sanctioned and declined, with what each one means written out.
Result: Two people reading the same lead understand the same thing.
First-call notes carried into the handover
Income, purpose, existing obligations and the product discussed, captured once on the first call and passed with the lead to the branch.
Result: The customer is not asked the same questions twice.
Closure reasons the branch has to pick from
A short list, including not eligible, rate, went elsewhere and no contact, that has to be chosen before a lead can be closed.
Result: You can see why enquiries are being lost, not only that they were.
A view of leads by branch, product and stage
Where enquiries are sitting, read by branch and product against the baseline recorded at the audit.
Result: A branch where leads are stalling stops being invisible.
How the result is measured
- Enquiries recorded
- Enquiries with no follow-up
- Time from enquiry to first response
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Branch head's lead list checks
Go through the branch's lead list in this order and the stuck enquiries show up.
- Leads with no named owner
- Filter for any lead with no relationship manager against it. Assign each one the same day, and if one keeps arriving unowned, fix the routing rule, not just the lead.
- Leads past their next-action date
- Sort by the date the next call was due. Ask the owner why it was missed, and move the lead to another relationship manager when he is on leave or has too many.
- Files waiting longest on documents
- Phone the customer and ask what is missing. Often the checklist he was given was unclear, and a better list does more than another reminder.
- DSA-sourced files
- Check that each DSA lead has the agent's name as source and a branch owner. If nobody inside the bank is answerable, the file will drift.
- Leads from pincodes outside the branch
- Pass these to the branch that serves the address. A home loan enquiry from outside your lending area wastes the customer's time and yours.
- Closed leads with no reason
- Reopen any lead closed without a reason from the list and ask the owner to pick one. A closed file with no reason teaches the branch nothing.

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
- You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
- You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.
How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Free audit call
90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.
After the call
Written, scored report
Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the work runs for banks
- 1
Assess
We look at your branch-level Google Business Profile, your reply time on calls and WhatsApp, and your reviews. Then we check where enquiries currently drop off between the counter and the loan desk.
- 2
Fix the profile and the reply
Every branch listing completed and accurate, a fast reply routine, and a shared record of every enquiry.
- 3
Build the product pages
A clear page for each priority product, written for the customer's real question, with eligibility, documentation and a way to start an enquiry.
- 4
Bring enquiries in
Local search, reviews from real customers, referrals, and paid search for products where the search already exists and you want it this quarter.
- 5
Keep and deepen the relationship
Onboarding that gets a new account active, renewal reminders for deposits, and cross-selling that actually fits the customer.
Proof
What happened when owners fixed this.
Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.
