Eye clinics · Search engine optimisation

Be the eye doctor a family finds for a child's glasses, dry eyes or a yearly check.

SEO for an eye clinic means having a page for each reason a family searches for an eye doctor, such as a child's eye test, dry eyes or a contact lens fitting, so the search ends at your consulting room. GullySales writes those pages around the doctor, the visit and the booking, and fixes whatever holds them back.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

Last updated 6 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For eye clinics

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “People search for the problem, not the doctor”

A parent types child squints and an office worker types eyes burning at night. A page headed with the clinic's name and the doctor's degrees answers neither of them.

  • “The clinic and the optical shop share one page”

Frames, lenses and the eye check are described together. Google cannot tell whether the visitor wants a doctor or a shop, and the ranking goes to a site that chose.

  • “Big eye hospitals own the surgery searches”

Cataract and retina searches go to hospitals with departments and budgets. A neighbourhood clinic ranks better for the regular check, the child, the dry eye and the lens fitting, and sends surgery on.

What we do

What we deliver for eye clinics.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each reason a patient comes

Eye check-up, children's eyes, dry eye, contact lens fitting, senior check-up and diabetic eye screening, each in plain words with who sees the patient and how to book.

Result: A family searching one reason lands on the page written for it.

  2. Doctor pages that match the registration

Name, qualification and registration as the council record shows them, matched to the signboard. Rules on what a doctor may say about themselves differ by state, so the wording is checked with your own council.

Result: The doctor's page says only what the register says.

  3. A separate page for the optical counter

Frames, lenses and contact lens supply on their own page, linked from the clinic pages, so each is judged for what it is.

Result: The shop and the doctor each rank for their own searches.

  4. A page on what happens if surgery is needed

Where the clinic sends cataract and retina patients, how the handover works and how the patient returns for follow-up.

Result: A worried family knows the clinic will see them through.

  5. Locality pages only for places you serve

A page for each nearby locality with the clinic's real address, session hours and a landmark people use.

Result: A search in your road finds the clinic in that road.

  6. Search enquiries logged by reason for the visit

Calls and bookings from search recorded by why the patient came, set against the baseline taken before work begins.

Result: You see whether search brought check-ups or only questions about frames.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a family types when an eye problem or a check-up is due, and the page that should answer it.

eye check up near me for glasses
A page for the ordinary visit: what the eye test involves, whether drops are used, how long to allow and whether the glasses can be ordered on the same visit.
child eye specialist, my son squints
A page for parents: what the doctor checks, why a young child may need drops for the test and what to bring, such as old glasses and a note from school.
dry eye treatment, burning eyes from mobile
A page for screen workers saying what the doctor assesses and when to come in. Do not promise a cure. Say what is examined, not what will be fixed.
contact lens fitting near me
A fitting page: the check before the lenses, the follow-up visit and who fits them, the doctor or the optometrist. Block the pages that sell lenses without a check.
diabetic eye check for my father
A page written for the son or daughter: why the eyes of a diabetic patient are examined, what the visit involves and what to bring from the diabetologist.
eye clinic with optical shop in your locality
A locality page naming the road, the landmark and the sessions, and saying that glasses can be made on the premises, so the visitor knows one trip is enough.

Who it is for

This is written for these eye clinics.

  • Single-doctor eye clinics
  • Eye clinics with an attached optical shop
  • Eye clinics that handle contact lens and dry eye care
  • Clinics with a paediatric eye focus
  • Clinics that refer cataract and retina cases
  • Small group practices of two or three eye doctors

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for eye clinics

  1. 1

    Listen to how patients return

The free audit call traces how patients arrive and how many return, and what happens after the first visit.

  2. 2

    Build a recall list

A simple record and a consented reminder.

  3. 3

    Connect the optical counter

A routine from prescription to glasses.

  4. 4

    Keep referred patients

A follow-up for patients sent for surgery.

  5. 5

    Report on visits, not activity

A report on recall visits and reviews against the baseline taken before anything changed.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Our optical shop and clinic share a name. Should they be one website?
One site is fine if the pages are separate: clinic pages describe the doctor and the visit, optical pages describe frames and lenses. Mixing them confuses searchers, and the advertising rules for each differ. Keep the details exactly as registered.
Do we need a page for every eye condition?
No. Write for the reasons people come every week: check-ups, children, dry eye, lenses, seniors and diabetics. A neighbourhood clinic that writes about every rare condition looks like a hospital it is not, and spreads its effort over pages that will not rank.
A hospital's page outranks ours for eye doctor. Is it worth competing?
Compete on the narrower search: the locality, the child, the lens fitting. A patient in your road does not want the hospital across the city. A page that names the street and the reason beats a general page from a large site.
Can we put the doctor's photograph and degrees on every page?
Put them on the doctor's own page, with a short line elsewhere. Use qualifications exactly as registered and no title the council does not allow. Rules on how a doctor may describe themselves differ by state, so ask your own council.
Can we advertise offers on glasses and check-ups?
Rules on health advertising differ and change, and discounts on medical services may be restricted. Optical retail is treated differently from the doctor's practice. We keep the two separate and your adviser confirms what each may say.
Can we publish patient testimonials?
Medical council rules restrict testimonials for doctors, and the position differs and changes. Reviews on a listing are written by patients themselves and are different, but your adviser should confirm how to ask for them.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
