Eye clinics · Pay per click advertising

Pay for the child's eye test and the dry eye search, and keep out the people shopping for frames.

Pay per click advertising for an eye clinic means paying Google to show when someone searches for an eye test, a child's check-up, a dry eye assessment or a lens fitting your doctor has room for. GullySales picks those searches, blocks the ones that only want frames or drops, and counts a booked appointment, not a click.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend daily against enquiries received.

For eye clinics

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Many eye searches are really shopping”

Spectacles near me, lens price and cheap frames are searches for a shop. A clinic that bids on them pays for clicks from people who wanted the optical counter, not the doctor.

  • “Medical ads answer to advertising rules”

A claim of a cure, a best, or a discount on an eye test can break the rules for doctors and the platform's health policy. The copy is checked before it runs.

  • “Drops and home remedies bring pain, not patients”

A person searching for drops for a red eye or a remedy for itchy eyes wants a quick answer. Few of them book a doctor from that search.

What we do

What we deliver for eye clinics.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Campaigns split by reason for the visit

Eye test, children's eyes, dry eye, contact lens fitting and diabetic screening each in a campaign of its own, so spend follows the doctor's open sessions.

Result: Budget goes where the appointment book has room.

  2. Ad hours matched to consulting sessions

Call buttons live only while reception is open and the doctor is sitting, agreed with whoever runs the appointment book.

Result: Nobody pays for a call that rings in an empty room.

  3. Negative keywords from real searches

Frames, lens price, drops, remedies, optometry course, eye donation and job searches added as negatives, and the search terms read again after each change.

Result: Money stops going to shoppers and students.

  4. Ad wording checked against advertising rules

Copy that names the visit and the doctor's registered qualification, with no claim of a cure or a best, checked with your adviser and the platform's current health policy.

Result: The ads run without a claim that puts the doctor at risk.

  5. A landing page for each reason

Each ad lands on the page for that visit, with the doctor, the sessions and a booking button or call.

Result: The parent who searched for a child's check does not land on frames.

  6. Call tracking to the appointment book

A tracked number for each campaign, with reception marking whether each call became a booked appointment or only a question.

Result: You can tell which campaign filled the sessions.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

Which eye searches are worth paying for at a clinic, and which to keep out.

Eye doctor or eye test near me
Bid, with the locality. The person wants a check now. Land on a page showing the doctor, the sessions and a booking button, and switch the call button off when reception is closed.
Child eye check, squint or lazy eye specialist
Bid in a separate campaign if a doctor sees children. Parents compare clinics, so the page should say what the visit involves and that the doctor is registered, with no promise of an outcome.
Dry eye, burning eyes and screen strain
Bid with care. Many searchers want a home remedy, so the page must say this is a medical appointment. Count bookings, not clicks, before raising the budget.
Contact lens fitting or lens check
Bid only if the clinic fits lenses with a follow-up visit. Send the click to the fitting page and block searches for cheap lenses or buying lenses online.
Spectacles, frames, lens price, eye drops, remedies
Block. They come from shoppers and from people treating a problem at home. Add them as negatives and read the search terms for more.
Where the click lands, and what counts
Count an answered call or a booking for a set session, then whether the patient came. Count the optical counter's sales apart from the doctor's appointments.

Who it is for

This is written for these eye clinics.

  • Single-doctor eye clinics
  • Eye clinics with an attached optical shop
  • Eye clinics that handle contact lens and dry eye care
  • Clinics with a paediatric eye focus
  • Clinics that refer cataract and retina cases
  • Small group practices of two or three eye doctors

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for eye clinics

  1. 1

    Listen to how patients return

The free audit call traces how patients arrive and how many return, and what happens after the first visit.

  2. 2

    Build a recall list

A simple record and a consented reminder.

  3. 3

    Connect the optical counter

A routine from prescription to glasses.

  4. 4

    Keep referred patients

A follow-up for patients sent for surgery.

  5. 5

    Report on visits, not activity

A report on recall visits and reviews against the baseline taken before anything changed.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we bid on cataract surgery searches?
Only if the clinic operates, or has a standing arrangement with a hospital and says so on the page. A clinic that sends surgery elsewhere can bid for the check-up and let the hospital's page handle the operation. The ad must not suggest the clinic does surgery it refers.
Should we use call-only ads?
They suit a clinic whose reception always answers, for searches such as eye pain or an eye injury. Switch them off at lunch and after the last session. For a child's check or dry eye, a page with the doctor and a booking button builds more trust.
A hospital's ad appears when people type our clinic's name. What do we do?
Bid on your own clinic and doctor's name in a small separate campaign. Do not bid on the hospital's name in return: it starts a contest you cannot win, and brand rules may apply. Check the platform's current policy before you decide.
How do we count optical counter sales that began with an ad?
Ask at the counter how the customer heard of the clinic and mark ad-sourced visits. The ad's goal is the appointment, and the glasses follow from it. Report two numbers, doctor visits and glasses bought, and never count a click that only wanted the shop as a patient.
Can we advertise offers on glasses and check-ups?
Rules on health advertising differ and change, and discounts on medical services may be restricted. Optical retail is treated differently from the doctor's practice. We keep the two separate and your adviser confirms what each may say.
Can we publish patient testimonials?
Medical council rules restrict testimonials for doctors, and the position differs and changes. Reviews on a listing are written by patients themselves and are different, but your adviser should confirm how to ask for them.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
