Flower shops · Google Business Profile

The profile is the shop for a customer who will never walk in.

For a florist the Google Business Profile does the work a shop window used to do: photographs of what is on the bench now, the hours on Valentine's Day, the order button and the reviews naming a funeral delivered on time. GullySales keeps that profile current and answers every review on it.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What Google Business Profile means

A Google Business Profile is the free listing that shows your address, hours, photos and reviews when someone searches for your business or a nearby competitor on Google and Maps. GullySales sets it up correctly, keeps it updated and posts to it regularly so it works as a steady source of calls and direction requests.

For flower shops

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Photographs go stale faster here than in any other shop”

Gerberas in July and marigold at Dussehra are not the same shop. A profile still showing last December's arrangements tells a buyer you are either shut or careless.

  • “The hours that matter are four days of the year”

Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Dussehra and the morning before a big wedding date. Special hours set on the profile for those days stop a buyer at six in the morning walking to the shop that said it was open.

  • “The order button decides whether you get a call at all”

A same-day buyer wants to place the order, not be told to ring the shop. An order link pointing at a page that states the delivery area and the cut-off takes the order while he is still in the lift.

What we do

What we deliver for flower shops.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Photographs refreshed as the stock turns

Real pictures of what is on the bench, replaced as the shop moves from wedding season to festival flowers to the sympathy stand.

Result: A buyer sees the shop as it is today, not last winter.

  2. Special hours set ahead of every peak date

Opening and closing times entered on the profile before Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Rakhi and the local festival dates, including the early start.

Result: Nobody reads closed on the one morning you open at five.

  3. An order link with a delivery-area page behind it

The order button pointed at a page stating the areas you deliver to and the cut-off time for same-day, rather than at the homepage.

Result: The order gets placed instead of a call asking if you deliver.

  4. Products listed the way people ask for them

Funeral wreaths, anniversary bouquets, mandap work and standing office arrangements entered as separate products, each with a photograph and a price band.

Result: A buyer finds the exact arrangement on the listing itself.

  5. Replies written for every review, sympathy ones included

A short, plain reply to each review, worded with care where the customer mentions a funeral or a hospital delivery.

Result: The next reader sees a shop that answers, and answers properly.

  6. Questions answered on the listing before they are asked

Delivery area, cut-off time, hospital and crematorium delivery and whether cash on delivery works, posted as answered questions on the profile.

Result: The question that would have been a phone call is already there.

How the result is measured

  • Profile views
  • Calls from the listing
  • Direction requests

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these flower shops.

  • Neighbourhood flower shops
  • Wedding and event florists
  • Corporate and hotel flower suppliers
  • Online flower delivery services
  • Florists specialising in funeral and sympathy arrangements
  • Florists inside malls and commercial complexes

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. 06 · At the end of the term

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for flower shops

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at how the shop appears for the same-day, urgent search, how wedding enquiries are quoted, and whether corporate standing orders are being pursued at all.

  2. 2

Fix the profile and the delivery promise

Google Business Profile set up for the delivery radius and hours, and a clear, honest same-day delivery promise the team can actually keep.

  3. 3

Build the wedding and event portfolio

A page of real past arrangements organised by style and budget, so a couple can judge quality before asking for a quote.

  4. 4

    Win same-day and planned orders

Local search and Google Ads for urgent searches, and outreach with the portfolio for wedding planners and venues.

  5. 5

    Win and keep corporate accounts

A pitch for standing weekly arrangements to hotels and offices, and a reliability record that protects the account at renewal.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we show prices on the profile?
Show a band on the arrangements you can honestly hold, such as a hand-tied bouquet from a stated price. A listing with no price at all sends the careful buyer to the florist who showed one.
Someone left a one-star review about a late Valentine's delivery. What do we do?
Reply in public, say what went wrong and what you did about it. Then ask the customers whose flowers did arrive that morning for a review, so one bad day is not the newest thing on the listing.
How is marketing different for same-day orders versus weddings?
Same-day orders need speed and a strong local search presence; weddings need a portfolio and patience over weeks. We build both, tracked separately.
Do we need ads for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day?
Usually yes, in the week before. Searches for flower delivery jump around these dates, and many orders are placed only a day or two ahead. A small, radius-limited ad budget then catches buyers your profile alone would miss.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
