Luxury hotels · Digital marketing

Digital marketing for a luxury hotel starts with the direct enquiry, not the ad.

Digital marketing for a luxury hotel is the combined use of search, social, email, WhatsApp and paid media to bring guests to your own enquiry route. GullySales works on how these parts fit, what the hotel spends where, and what each channel is shown to have brought.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For luxury hotels

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Every channel claims the same booking”

The guest saw an Instagram post, searched the name, clicked a booking app and finally wrote to the hotel. Without a record of the first touch, each channel looks either wasted or responsible for everything.

  • “Paid media buys attention that the website must hold”

An advertisement for a suite leads to a page. If that page is slow on mobile, vague on price or hides the enquiry button, the spend is lost at the last step.

  • “Brand and performance are both needed”

Searches for the hotel's name are the result of earlier work in photographs, press and word of mouth. Spending only on the final click starves the work that made guests look for you.

What we do

What we deliver for luxury hotels.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan tied to booking sources

A written view of where bookings come from today and which digital channels should carry more or less of the load.

Result: Spend follows evidence from your own bookings.

  2. A measurement set-up

Tracking for website enquiries, calls, WhatsApp starts and form sends, connected to a single sheet or dashboard you can read.

Result: You can see which channel brought which enquiry.

  3. Search and social advertising set-up

Campaigns for suites, dining and events, aimed at defined guests, with budgets you set and approve.

Result: Each campaign has a stated audience and purpose.

  4. Email to past guests

A mailer to guests who agreed to hear from you, around special dates and seasons, not a monthly broadcast.

Result: Past guests receive messages that suit them.

  5. A review of the whole mix

A written look at what each channel earned and cost, followed by a recommendation on where to move spend.

Result: The next budget decision rests on records.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How much should a luxury hotel spend on digital?
That depends on revenue, season and what the direct channel already earns, so we do not name a share. We set a budget from your own figures and the reservations desk's capacity to reply.
Is digital marketing worth it if we sell through travel designers?
Yes, in a different way. The designer researches your hotel online before recommending it. Your site, photographs and profile are your sales material when you are not in the room.
Which channel should come first?
Fix the first reply and the website enquiry route before adding spend. A new channel only increases the number of enquiries that wait. After that, choose the channel where your past guests already are.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
