Luxury hotels · Social media

Social media sells a luxury hotel by showing what the stay feels like.

Social media marketing for a luxury hotel is the use of Instagram, Facebook and short video to let a guest picture the stay before they enquire. GullySales works on the content plan, the way staff and moments are shown and the route from a post to a reservations reply.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For luxury hotels

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Guests judge the hotel on how it looks at dusk”

A luxury buyer scrolls past a rate card but stops for the suite lit at dusk, the table being laid or the view from a bath. The feed is a viewing, and it is judged as one.

  • “Posts that cannot be answered waste the attention”

A guest comments asking about a suite for a weekend, and the comment sits for days. A post is only as good as the reply behind it, which means someone owns the inbox and the comments.

  • “Guests post about the hotel more truthfully than the hotel does”

A photograph taken by a guest at breakfast is more believable than an edited one. A feed that reposts guest images, with permission, shows the real property and gives the guest a reason to tag.

What we do

What we deliver for luxury hotels.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A content plan built on stay moments

A list of scenes to capture through the day and the year: arrival, turndown, breakfast, festival décor, chef's table, spa hour.

Result: The team always knows what to photograph next.

  2. A reel and story format for the property

A repeatable pattern for short video that shows a room, a dish or a view without needing a studio each time.

Result: The feed has a recognisable look.

  3. A comment and message routine

Who answers, in what voice and when to move a conversation to WhatsApp or email.

Result: No enquiry on social is left unanswered.

  4. A guest content and permission process

A simple way to ask guests to share and to credit them, with consent recorded.

Result: Reposted guest photographs are permitted and credited.

  5. Paid posts for the right audience

Small, tested boosts aimed at past guests, travel enthusiasts and event planners, with the budget set by you.

Result: Each boosted post has a purpose and a measured result.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the social media work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Which platform matters most?
Instagram is where luxury guests look at stays, and Facebook still reaches families and event planners. LinkedIn is useful for corporate stays and group business. Begin where your own enquiries tell you guests are.
Should we use influencers?
Only where the audience is the guest you want and the stay is real. Agree the deliverables in writing and check the platform's current rules on disclosing paid partnerships.
Should staff appear in posts?
Where staff are comfortable and the hotel agrees, yes. The butler, the chef and the concierge are part of what the guest is buying. Get consent first, and never post a guest without their permission.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
