Luxury hotels · WhatsApp marketing

For a luxury guest in India, WhatsApp is the front door of the hotel.

WhatsApp marketing for a luxury hotel is the use of the WhatsApp Business number to answer enquiries, confirm stays and keep in touch with guests who agreed to hear from you. GullySales works on the business profile, the reply templates and the rules for who may be messaged and when.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For luxury hotels

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The guest expects a person, not a form”

A high-spending Indian traveller sends the question to the hotel's number and expects a human reply. A catalogue, a quick-reply menu and a named agent make it feel like service.

  • “Promotions can cost you the guest”

A past guest who receives a blast about a discount feels like a number. A message tied to their last stay, such as the view they liked, feels like a hotel that remembers.

  • “The number is a shared asset that is often handled badly”

If the general manager's personal phone carries the hotel's enquiries, the history leaves when they do. A business number with several agents keeps the conversation inside the hotel.

What we do

What we deliver for luxury hotels.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile

Name, description, address, hours, catalogue of suites and dining, and links to the enquiry route, set up on a number the hotel owns.

Result: The first screen a guest sees looks like the hotel.

  2. Greeting and away messages

Wording for the first contact and for the hours when nobody can reply, with the next step clear.

Result: A late-night enquiry receives a response at once.

  3. Message templates for each stage

Approved templates for confirmation, pre-arrival, in-stay and thank-you messages, written for your voice.

Result: Standard messages are consistent and polite.

  4. A consent and list rule

A record of which guests agreed to receive messages, how they agreed and a plain way to stop.

Result: You message only people who said yes.

  5. An agent rota and handover

Who answers on which shift, how a chat is passed on and when a manager steps in.

Result: No guest chat sits unanswered.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send offers to past guests?
Only to those who agreed to hear from you, and only in a way that respects the platform's current rules. Make the message about them, not a mass offer, and give a clear way to opt out.
Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
A small team can start with the Business app. Larger hotels with several agents and high volumes may need the API through an approved provider. Check the current terms and fees before choosing.
Should a guest be able to book on WhatsApp?
The guest can ask and receive a quote there. Final booking and payment can follow your usual secure process. A luxury guest values the reply more than the checkout inside the chat.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
