Interior fit-out contractors · Reputation management

Answer the review the way you would answer the client's project manager, with the facts.

Reputation management for an interior fit-out contractor is how you read and answer what clients, consultants and sub-contractors say about you, on Google and in reference calls. GullySales sets the reply routine and the fix list behind each kind of complaint.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For interior fit-out contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Your reputation is made in reference calls”

A project manager phones two past clients before inviting you to quote. Those calls count for more than any rating, and nobody tracks them.

  • “A dispute over extras becomes a public review”

A claim about extra work or retained payment, written angrily on Google, is read by every buyer. A calm reply that points to the work order terms is judged as carefully as the complaint.

  • “Reviews from sub-contractors and former staff”

A sub-contractor who feels unpaid or a former employee posts a review that is not about the work. It reads like a client's unless you answer it.

What we do

What we deliver for interior fit-out contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Written replies to the usual reviews

Starting points for a delay, a dispute over extras, a snag after handover, praise and a review that is not from a client.

Result: Replies are measured and written once.

  2. A reference-call list

Past clients who agreed to take a call, with the project each can speak about and the person who briefs them.

Result: A reference call finds a prepared, willing client.

  3. A closing conversation at handover

A step at the end of each project to ask how it went, record any open point and ask if the client will take a reference call.

Result: Problems are heard before they are posted.

  4. A record of variations

A signed instruction for each extra item of work before it starts, kept with the project file.

Result: A dispute about extras can be answered from papers.

  5. A complaint log kept with the project file

Each complaint with the cause found and what was changed in your process.

Result: The same complaint stops recurring.

  6. A report on reviews by theme

Reviews and reference feedback sorted into schedule, extras, quality and handover, set beside the baseline.

Result: You can see which part of delivery to fix.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to do with each review

Here are the reviews a contractor gets, what to reply, and what to fix inside.

Handover came late
Reply with the dates and the cause, such as drawing changes or building permissions, and what you did to recover. Inside, check whether the schedule you quoted allowed for approvals and material lead times.
A dispute over extra work or payment
Say that variations are signed and refer to the work order terms, without publishing the client's figures. Inside, check that every extra instruction had a signed variation before the work began.
Snags after handover
Thank the client for flagging it, say who will visit, confirm a date and close it. Inside, review whether the snag list was signed and whether the defect period terms were clear.
A client who is pleased
Reply with a line naming the project, such as the clinic floor or the showroom. Thank the facilities head if he agreed to be named. A new line for each project reads as a person; copied thanks reads as a script.
A review from a former employee or sub-contractor
Reply once, politely, without discussing payments or personnel in public. Offer to speak privately. Report it only if it breaks the platform's rules, and do not expect removal.
A review that matches no client
Check your project files. If you find no such client, say so politely and ask the writer to get in touch. Report it to the platform, which decides whether to remove it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for interior fit-out contractors

  1. 1

Listen to how projects are won

The free audit call traces where invitations come from and where quotes are lost.

  2. 2

    Document what you have built

    A project record with consent.

  3. 3

    Be known before the tender

    A consultant contact routine.

  4. 4

    Quote fast and query early

    A quoting process and template.

  5. 5

    Report on projects, not activity

A report on invitations, quotes and projects against the baseline taken before anything changed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we ask a corporate client to review us on Google?
You can ask, but many companies have policies against public reviews, so accept a no. A signed reference letter or a call from the client's facilities head may carry more with a project manager. Never offer a discount on the next job in return.
Should a partner reply to a review that blames the site engineer?
The partner replies, without naming or blaming the engineer in public. Say you are checking the project file. Then talk to the engineer, go through the records and write back with what you found.
A client posted figures from our quote in a review. What do we do?
Do not reply with figures from the quotation or the contract. Say the details are in the signed documents and you will gladly go through them privately. Those terms belong to the client and to you, not to the public.
Does a bad review matter when our work comes through consultants?
Yes, because a project manager checking a name searches for it. A calm reply and a visible fix read as a company that closes problems. An unanswered one reads as a company that does not.
Can we show photographs of completed projects?
With the client's written permission. Many corporate clients restrict photography of their premises, so the consent should be specific.
Can we name our clients?
Only with their permission. Some will allow the project to be shown without the name.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
