The purchase engineer sent a drawing to four moulders and wants the quotation back by Friday.
In injection moulding the customer usually arrives with a part and a deadline. The part is drawn, the resin is named, and a yearly quantity is stated. Several shops get the same RFQ at the same time.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph
Injection moulding melts plastic resin and forces it into a steel mould to make parts in volume, from switch housings to bottle caps and dashboard clips. GullySales helps moulders get drawings sent to them, answer the request for quotation quickly and keep the sample, approval and repeat order moving.
The shop that answers with a clear price, a lead time for the tool and a plan for the first sample gets the next conversation. The one that replies after a week with a number and nothing else is already behind.

Who it is for
This is written for you if injection moulding is what you make or sell.
- Job-work moulders serving automotive, appliance and electrical buyers
- Moulders making caps, closures and small consumer parts in high cavity counts
- Shops with machines from small tonnage up to large-tonnage presses
- Moulders who own tools and sell finished parts, as well as those who mould on the customer's tool
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- A shop with no tool room access and no plan for mould repair. Buyers will ask what happens when a tool needs service.
- A moulder who cannot report dimensions on a first sample. Industrial buyers expect an inspection report.
How buyers choose
What decides the sale of injection moulding.
Tool ownership
Who pays for the mould and who owns it decides the whole relationship. A buyer comparing two quotations looks at tool cost, how many cavities, and whether the tool stays with them.
Cavities and cycle time
A four-cavity tool at a short cycle costs more to build but less per piece. The quotation should show the piece price against the cavity count, and the buyer will check it.
First sample and approval
The first shots from the new tool go to the buyer with a dimensional report. In automotive and appliance work an approval process follows before regular supply.
Resin sourcing
The buyer specifies a grade, or asks you to propose one. They want to know where it is sourced, whether it is virgin or reprocessed, and whether you can change brand.
Where orders are lost
What usually goes wrong when you sell injection moulding.
In the words owners use on the first call.
“We lose RFQs because our quotation goes out a week late”
Costing a part needs the weight, the cycle, the cavities and the resin price. A standard costing sheet cuts the time spent on each.
“The tool is with the customer and they take the job elsewhere”
A customer-owned tool moves easily to another press. The relationship, the quality record and fast response are what hold the work.
“We want work from outside our two industries”
Buyers in other industries do not know you can mould their kind of part. A page per industry, with a part you have made for it, opens that door.
“Our machines run well but our enquiries are thin”
A plain website with a phone number is invisible next to moulders with a clear capability page and a form that asks for the drawing.
The scope
The work we would propose for injection moulding.
Measured on qualified enquiries, quotation requests, follow-up on each quotation, orders won and, where you sell through dealers or shelves, repeat orders by channel. Anything here that needs a platform, directory or tool we have not used with you is confirmed with you before it goes in the scope.
- An RFQ form that takes the drawing, the resin and the yearly quantityA form with file upload and four required fields. The estimator sees a usable enquiry, not a phone number.
- Pages by machine tonnage, resin and industryA page for each press range, one for each resin family you run, and one for each industry you serve, with a part photographed from the floor.
- Quotation, sample and approval follow-upThree checkpoints: after the quotation, after the first sample and after the approval. Each is a call with a stated question.
- Reply-time rules for RFQsA named person who acknowledges every RFQ on the day it arrives, even if the price comes later.
- Repeat-order contactCustomers who buy one part are asked about the next. A standing contact with their purchase and quality engineers.
What we do
What you get for injection moulding.
Each deliverable and what it is there to change.
An RFQ form with drawing upload
Collects drawing, resin, yearly quantity and delivery date. Cuts the questions your estimator would otherwise ask.
A press list with tonnage and shot size
Lets a buyer see at once whether your machines can run their part.
A costing sheet and quotation template
Piece price, tool cost, lead time for tool and first sample, in one layout. Speeds up the reply and makes quotations comparable.
A first-sample report template
A neat dimensional report that goes with every sample. Shows the buyer you inspect.
A record of quotations and their outcomes
Which RFQs became orders, which were lost on price and which went quiet.
How the result is measured
- RFQs received with drawings
- Quotations sent and follow-up made
- Samples sent and approved
- Orders won and repeat orders
- Enquiries by industry
- Time from RFQ to quotation
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
What we need from you
What to have ready before we talk.
None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.
- A list of your presses with tonnage
- The resins you process and your usual suppliers
- Photographs of parts moulded, with the customer's consent
- Your last ten RFQs and what happened to each
- A sample dimensional report
Export and new regions
Selling injection moulding beyond your home market.
Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.
Buyers abroad for moulded parts
Overseas OEMs and sourcing agents look for Indian moulders for parts they now buy elsewhere. Your existing export customers and agents are the place to start.
Tooling made in India
A buyer abroad may ask you to build the mould and mould the part. State who owns the tool and how it ships if the buyer moves the job.
Samples and inspection
An overseas buyer wants a sample report and a photograph of the packed parts. Third-party inspection is sometimes requested; the buyer arranges it.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options
Ways to work with us.
Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.
Option 1
The conversation on its own
A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.
Option 2
One fix, scoped
Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.
Option 3
An ongoing programme
We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.
Option 4
Guidance for your own team or agency
We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
