A brand owner wants bottles by the launch date and does not know what a neck finish is.

A blow moulder's buyer is usually a brand owner, a packer or a chemical or oil company that needs a container. The container carries their product and their name, so they care about shape, weight, closure and cost.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Plastics technicians inspect moulded parts and containers

In one paragraph

Blow moulding forms hollow plastic items such as bottles, jerrycans, drums and tanks by inflating heated plastic inside a mould. GullySales helps blow moulders reach the brands, packers and processors who buy containers, and handles the sample, design and quotation steps that come before the first production run.

Many are small brands with no packaging engineer. They need someone to explain what is possible, what a new mould costs and how many bottles they must order. A moulder who explains it well is remembered.

Who it is for

This is written for you if blow moulding is what you make or sell.

  • Extrusion blow moulders making bottles, jars and jerrycans
  • Makers of drums, tanks and large containers
  • Stretch blow moulders making PET bottles from preforms
  • Moulders who sell both stock designs and custom bottles

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A shop that can only make one or two stock designs and has no mould-making link. Brands usually want their own shape.
  • A moulder who has not thought about closures. A bottle without a matching cap is only half a quotation.

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of blow moulding.

  1. Volume and capacity

The buyer says what they fill, in what size and how many a month. Whether to start with a stock bottle or build a new mould follows from that.

  2. Neck finish and closure

The neck must match the cap or pump the packer uses. A buyer who asks about neck finish knows the trade; a newcomer needs you to ask.

  3. Material and product compatibility

HDPE, PET or another resin depending on the product inside. A chemical or edible oil packer checks that the resin suits the filling.

  4. Mould cost and minimum order

A custom bottle needs a mould. The buyer weighs the cost of that mould against the number of bottles they will order, and often asks for a stock shape first.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell blow moulding.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “Small brands ask for a custom bottle and then cannot afford the mould”

A stock-design catalogue with a decoration or label option keeps those buyers with you until volume justifies a custom mould.

  • “Our bottles look the same as everyone's in the listings”

A photograph and a capacity tell the buyer nothing about wall thickness, weight or neck. A page with a size chart separates you from a bare listing.

  • “Seasonal orders leave the machines idle for months”

Pesticide, agro-chemical and beverage seasons produce peaks. Winning buyers in a second industry with an off-season smooths the year.

What we do

What you get for blow moulding.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A stock bottle chart

Capacity, weight, neck and material for each bottle. Lets a small brand pick without a design project.

  2. A custom bottle brief

A short form on shape, closure and volume. Sets out what a new mould needs and what it costs.

  3. Industry pages with fill-and-cap notes

Explains the container requirements of each buying industry. Shows you know the filling.

  4. A sample follow-up record

Who got which bottle, what they filled it with and what they said.

How the result is measured

  • Container briefs received
  • Samples sent and approved
  • Quotation requests and follow-up
  • Custom mould enquiries
  • Orders and repeat orders
  • Enquiries by industry

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Photographs of bottles and containers you make
  • The mould list with capacities and neck finishes
  • Machines and their size range
  • Your top customers by industry
  • The months in which your orders peak and dip

Export and new regions

Selling blow moulding beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. Export buyers for containers

Bottles ship light but take up space, so exports usually suit neighbouring markets or higher-value containers. Your existing export packers are the place to start.

  2. Closures and compatibility

An overseas packer will specify a neck finish to suit their cap. Confirm it in writing before you cut a mould.

FAQ

Questions about selling blow moulding.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How can I attract brands that need custom bottles?
Show the custom bottles you have made, by industry, and explain what a new mould involves. A brand owner who sees that you can guide them is likelier to send a brief.
Should I publish a stock bottle list?
Yes. It brings in small buyers and helps larger ones see your range. Photograph each bottle with its cap if you supply one.
How do I deal with seasonal demand?
Look for a second industry whose busy months fall in your slack months, and approach packers there through a short list built from the market.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
