A gasket is the cheapest part on the machine, and the buyer wants it before the machine restarts.

Most gasket buying is urgent. A flange leaks, a pump is stripped, a door seal has gone, and the maintenance head wants a replacement now. A smaller share is planned: an OEM with a drawing and a yearly quantity.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Rubber manufacturers inspect gaskets, hoses and seals

In one paragraph

Rubber gaskets are flat or shaped rubber sealing parts that sit between two surfaces to stop leaks of fluid, air or dust. GullySales helps a gasket maker get found by maintenance heads and OEMs, and makes it easy to send a sample or a drawing and get a quote the same day.

The urgent buyer calls the nearest trader. The planned buyer asks several makers. Your page has to work for both, and it rarely does.

Who it is for

This is written for you if rubber gaskets is what you make or sell.

  • Makers of cut and moulded gaskets for pumps, valves, flanges and engines
  • Shops that cut gaskets from sheet, cork-rubber and rubber-fabric materials
  • Makers of door, window and cabinet seals for equipment makers
  • Units who supply gaskets to traders and want more direct industrial buyers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A shop that does not cut or mould to a sample and sells only standard sizes from stock
  • A maker who cannot respond quickly to urgent requests, since the page promises speed

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of rubber gaskets.

  1. The old gasket in hand

The buyer often has only the worn gasket. A page that says 'send us the old part or a photograph with the dimensions' matches how they actually shop.

  2. Material for the fluid and temperature

The buyer asks whether it is nitrile, EPDM, neoprene or another compound, and what it will take. The maker who asks what the gasket will seal is trusted.

  3. Sheet, cut or moulded

A flat gasket can be cut from sheet in hours. A shaped sealing part needs a mould. The buyer wants to know which route and how long each takes.

  4. Regular supply for the OEM

An equipment maker needs a standing quantity and a part that is the same every time. They ask for a sample batch and a delivery plan.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell rubber gaskets.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “Urgent buyers ring the trader down the road”

A page that does not say you cut to sample, and how fast, loses the breakdown call to whoever shows up in search.

  • “We lose to the cheapest sheet cutter”

Price is the only visible difference when the buyer does not see the material, the cutting accuracy or the fit.

  • “OEMs order once and the repeat goes elsewhere”

After the first batch, nobody checks whether the gasket fitted well or what the next order is.

The scope

The work we would propose for rubber gaskets.

Measured on qualified enquiries, quotation requests, follow-up on each quotation, trial orders won and repeat orders. Anything here that needs a platform, directory or tool we have not used with you is confirmed with you before it goes in the scope.

What we do

What you get for rubber gaskets.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A gasket materials chart for buyers

Helps a maintenance head choose without a call, and makes your page the one worth saving.

  2. A photo-and-dimension enquiry sheet

Shows buyers exactly what to send, which cuts the back-and-forth on an urgent job.

  3. A reply log for urgent requests

Records when each enquiry came and when it was answered, so slow replies can be fixed.

  4. A sample batch and fit-check call for new OEMs

Turns the first batch into a recorded fit check, with the next order date asked for.

How the result is measured

  • Qualified gasket enquiries
  • Photo and dimension enquiries answered
  • Quotations followed up
  • Urgent jobs won
  • Trial orders from OEMs
  • Repeat orders per customer

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • The gasket materials and sheet types you stock
  • Cutting and moulding capabilities, with the largest and smallest sizes
  • Photographs of gaskets you have made
  • Your usual reply and delivery time for urgent jobs, stated truthfully
  • A list of OEMs and plants you supply now

Export and new regions

Selling rubber gaskets beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. Traders and OEMs abroad

Overseas traders who stock gaskets and OEMs that need custom cut parts are possible buyers. We would start with the export enquiries you have already received.

  2. Samples and drawings

Gaskets ship cheaply by courier, so samples are easy. Buyers abroad ask for a drawing, a material specification and packing details.

FAQ

Questions about selling rubber gaskets.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do I win the urgent buyer?
Be findable by the part and quick to answer. A page that says what you cut and how fast, with a number to send a photograph to, is what that buyer is looking for.
Do I need to list every compound?
List the ones you stock and what each is for. A buyer who finds the right compound on your page is more likely to send the dimensions.
How do I move from traders to OEMs?
Ask traders which OEMs they supply, and reach those OEMs with a sample of the gasket they use. A direct supplier who is nearby and reliable gets considered.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
