Silicone parts get specified by a design engineer long before any purchase officer sees a price.

Silicone is chosen for heat, flexibility, colour and a soft feel. The buyer is often a design engineer at an appliance maker, an electronics firm, a lighting company or a kitchenware brand, with a drawing and a short list of moulders.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Rubber manufacturers inspect gaskets, hoses and seals

In one paragraph

Silicone components are moulded or extruded parts made from silicone rubber, such as seals, keypads, tubes, gaskets and cable grommets. GullySales helps a silicone moulder reach the engineers who specify these parts and answers their questions on hardness, colour, temperature and sample approval.

Parts are small, volumes vary and tools are specific. The moulder who can talk about hardness, cure and finish on the first call is the one who gets the sample slot.

Who it is for

This is written for you if silicone components is what you make or sell.

  • Moulders making silicone seals, gaskets and grommets for electrical and lighting makers
  • Makers of silicone keypads, buttons and covers for electronics
  • Extruders making silicone tubes, cords and profiles
  • Moulders of kitchenware and baby-product parts who supply brands
  • Shops that mould liquid silicone or high-consistency rubber and want OEM customers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A moulder who cannot say which silicone grades they run, since the engineer will ask
  • A shop looking to make medical or food-contact claims on its own, which needs documents and advice outside this work

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of silicone components.

  1. Hardness, colour and temperature

The engineer gives a hardness range, a colour match and an operating temperature. The moulder who confirms what they can hold is taken seriously.

  2. Tool, sample and first-article approval

A new silicone part needs a mould and a first-article check against the drawing. The buyer wants tool cost and sample date together.

  3. Material documents for the end use

A part for electrical, kitchen or personal use may need material documents. The buyer asks, and your adviser or the certifying body confirms what applies.

  4. Volume and finishing

Trimming, post-curing, printing and assembly are part of the quotation. The buyer compares what is included.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell silicone components.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “Our parts are good but engineers never find us”

Engineers search for the property they need, such as a soft-touch silicone grommet. A page that lists only 'rubber moulding' does not match that.

  • “The sample came out with flash and we lost the order”

A poor first sample ends the conversation. A call that asks about the finish before the buyer decides could have caught the issue.

  • “They want a colour match and we promise too much”

A colour that does not match on the repeat run costs the account. A page that sets expectations about colour tolerance prevents it.

The scope

The work we would propose for silicone components.

Measured on qualified enquiries, quotation requests, follow-up on each quotation, trial orders won and repeat orders. Anything here that needs a platform, directory or tool we have not used with you is confirmed with you before it goes in the scope.

What we do

What you get for silicone components.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A silicone capability sheet by grade, hardness and colour

Gives an engineer the facts needed to shortlist you without a call.

  2. A sample set of finished parts

Lets outreach carry something the engineer can handle and test.

  3. A tool-and-piece quotation

Splits tool cost, sample date and piece rate, which is how engineers compare.

  4. A colour-and-finish record per job

Keeps the master colour and finish reference, so repeat runs match.

How the result is measured

  • Qualified silicone enquiries
  • Tool and piece quotations sent
  • Samples submitted and approved
  • Quotations followed up
  • Trial orders won
  • Repeat orders on existing tools

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • The silicone grades, processes and presses you run
  • Photographs of finished parts on a plain background
  • Parts you have supplied to OEMs, where you may mention them
  • Documents you hold for the material, as far as they are real and current
  • Recent quotations won and lost

Export and new regions

Selling silicone components beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. OEMs and brands abroad

Appliance, lighting and electronics makers abroad that source small silicone parts from India are possible buyers. Start with export enquiries already received.

  2. Material statements for end use

Overseas buyers may ask for material statements tied to the product's use. What applies to your parts is for your adviser to confirm.

  3. Sampling by courier

Silicone parts are light, so samples travel easily. The cost is in the tool, so say plainly who owns it and where it is kept.

FAQ

Questions about selling silicone components.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do I reach design engineers?
Be findable by the property they search for and send a sample of a relevant part to the sourcing or design team. A technical sheet that answers hardness and temperature questions is what they forward.
Can we say our silicone is safe for food or body contact?
Only if you hold the right documents and your adviser agrees the wording. Otherwise, describe the material and the grade and leave suitability claims to the product maker.
Do small volumes make sense for marketing?
They can, if the part is specific and the tool cost is understood. Say your smallest run on the page so buyers with high volumes and buyers with trials both know where they stand.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.
