Manufacturing companies · Lead generation

Bring in RFQs from buyers who need your exact capability, not vague enquiries.

Lead generation for a manufacturing company means attracting RFQs from buyers actively searching for a specific product, material or capability, rather than fielding generic price enquiries that go nowhere. GullySales builds the pages and outreach that bring in the former and tracks every RFQ received.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Realistic editorial illustration of manufacturing companies at work in India

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For manufacturing companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The capability page is what a buyer reads before sending a drawing”

A buyer searching for a specific production capacity or certification needs to see it stated clearly before trusting the factory enough to send a specification.

  • “Trade directory and referral enquiries need the same discipline”

An RFQ from a trade platform or a referral deserves the same tracked, same-day response as one from the website, but is often treated as lower priority.

  • “Export buyers need a page answering logistics questions upfront”

A page addressing shipping, packaging and export documentation experience catches serious overseas RFQs a domestic-only page would lose.

What we do

What we deliver for manufacturing companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Capability page stating real numbers

A page stating actual production capacity, certifications and materials handled clearly, so a buyer trusts sending a specification.

Result: A serious buyer sends a specification instead of moving to a competitor.

  2. Same-discipline tracking across RFQ sources

Every RFQ, whether from the website, a trade platform or a referral, logged and tracked with the same attention.

Result: A referral or directory RFQ no longer gets treated as lower priority by accident.

  3. Export logistics landing page

A page addressing shipping, packaging and export documentation experience, aimed at catching serious overseas RFQs.

Result: An overseas buyer finds the reassurance a domestic-only page would have lost.

  4. RFQ tracking to purchase orders

Every RFQ tracked through to whether it became a quote and then a purchase order.

Result: You measure leads by orders won, not by the number of enquiries received.

  5. Distributor and institutional buyer outreach

A planned outreach effort to distributors and institutional buyers for the product categories you want to grow.

Result: New RFQs arrive from buyer types the company deliberately pursued.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

A manufacturer gets enquiries from buyers, distributors and exporters, and each source needs its own details written down.

RFQ by email from a procurement team
Record the part or drawing number, material, quantity per order, annual volume, delivery location and who evaluates. Reply with what you need to quote, or the quote itself, and name one owner.
Trade directory or IndiaMART enquiry
Note the exact product named and the quantity asked for. Reply with the nearest standard item and a drawing request, and tag it by directory so you can see which one sends buyers.
Trade fair visitor card
Write what the visitor looked at on the stand, and what they asked for next. Send a message that refers to that product, not a general brochure.
Distributor or dealer in a new territory
Record the territory, the lines they handle and whether they stock or only take orders. Settle who may quote to end users before sending a price list.
Export buyer's enquiry
Log the country, the incoterm they use, the certificates they ask for and the port. Reply with what you can document today, and say clearly what you cannot yet supply.
Repeat customer with a new part
Open a new enquiry against the existing account, not a repeat order. A new part number is a new quote, with its own drawing, sample and approval.

Who it is for

This is written for these manufacturing companies.

  • Component and parts manufacturers
  • Industrial equipment manufacturers
  • Chemical and process manufacturers
  • Textile and garment manufacturers
  • Packaging manufacturers
  • Contract and private label manufacturers
  • Export-oriented manufacturing units
  • Manufacturers supplying government and institutional buyers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the lead generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

All case studies
  • SB Engineering

    Situation
Buyers searching for laser cutting and sheet metal work in Bengaluru were finding other suppliers first, because the company did not rank for the terms its own customers type.
    What we did
    • The site redesigned for mobile
    • Search work on the buyer's terms
    • Content that shows the work
    • Social channels managed
    Result
    • Website traffic rose 60% within six months, against a target of 50%.
    • High-quality leads rose 45%, with a rise in conversion rates alongside them.
    • Fifteen target keywords moved up the rankings, five of them into the top three positions.

  • HOPO Hardware

    Situation
There was no website or online platform of any kind, so nothing showed the products, their features or their technical specifications. A dealer who wanted a specification had to ask for it every time.
    What we did
    • Website and product catalogue
    • Logo and colour palette
    • Printed stationery
    • Social accounts opened
    Result
No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Does paid advertising work for manufacturing lead generation?
It can, targeted narrowly at specific product or capability searches, once the website and quote process are ready to handle the RFQs it brings.
Most enquiries we get are just fishing for a price. Which ones should we count?
The ones that reach a quotation and then a purchase order. We count RFQs by what they became, so a quiet month that produced orders beats a busy month of price-checkers.
Two of our salesmen both replied to the same RFQ. How do we stop that?
Give each account one owner and make the register the only place an RFQ is assigned. Before replying, search the buyer's company name. The first person who logs it owns it until the register shows it closed.
Should a repeat purchase order from an existing customer be counted as a lead?
No. Count it as repeat business and keep it apart from new enquiries, or your lead numbers will look better than they are. A new part number from the same customer is a different matter and should be logged as a fresh enquiry.
Do we need to advertise?
Most manufacturers gain more first from a faster quote and a clearer capability page. Advertising helps when one product category or export market needs pushing this quarter.
Our buyers are engineers. Will your copy be technically right?
Only if your engineers check it, so we build that step in. We draft from your drawings, machine list and test certificates. Someone on your side signs off every capability claim before it goes live.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
