Manufacturing companies · Outdoor advertising

Buy the estate road your buyers drive daily, not the city arterial.

Outdoor advertising for a factory is a board where industrial buyers already are: the estate road their own plants sit on, the approach to an exhibition hall in the week of a trade fair, your own gate. GullySales picks those spots, checks the permission for each structure, and prints a number the sales desk logs.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What outdoor advertising means

Outdoor advertising is the hoarding, billboard, bus shelter or digital screen on a road your buyers already use. GullySales picks the sites from where your customers actually come from, coordinates the booking with the media owner, and gives the campaign a traceable route so it is not judged on guesswork.

For manufacturing companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Your buyer works on one road”

A purchase manager who buys your kind of component drives the same estate road twice a day. Peenya, Jigani, Bommasandra: a board inside an estate reaches more of your market than a landmark site on the ring road.

  • “Expo week puts your buyers in one place”

For the days a machine tool or packaging fair runs, the people you want are all travelling to the same gate. The approach road in that week is worth more than a month anywhere else.

  • “The board hires as well as it sells”

Operators, fitters and quality inspectors live around the estate and read the same panel. A line about openings on the gate board fills a shift that a job portal has not.

  • “Say the specification, not the company name”

A board has a few seconds with an engineer. The process, the material and the sizes you handle mean something to them. A logo and a line about excellence do not.

What we do

What we deliver for manufacturing companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Estate and route shortlist

The industrial areas your current buyers sit in, the roads into them, and the junctions their trucks and staff cars pass every morning.

Result: The board sits where people who buy your kind of work drive.

  2. Exhibition week placements

Sites on the approach to the venue for the days a relevant fair runs, with the display dates written into the order.

Result: Buyers have seen your name before they reach the stall.

  3. Factory gate and boundary board

Your own wall and gate treated as media, carrying the process, the certifications you hold and a number, repainted when it fades.

Result: An address you already pay for starts producing enquiries.

  4. Artwork an engineer reads at speed

The process and the capacity in the words a buyer uses, one number and a QR code to the capability page, set inside the safe area of the panel.

Result: The board says what you make, from a moving car.

  5. Licence, panel size and display dates

Who holds the permission for the structure, what size and material it takes, and the exact mounting and removal dates, agreed before printing.

Result: The board is up for the days that were paid for.

  6. A traced number and source logging on every RFQ

A line and a web address used on the boards alone, with one question on the enquiry form and in the sales desk's call record.

Result: An RFQ can be put down to the board that carried the number.

How the result is measured

  • Sites booked
  • Proof of display received
  • Enquiries quoting the campaign route

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it is bought, and approved

A factory buys outdoor where its buyers work, and the estate and the civic body clear it first.

Estate permission
Inside an industrial estate, boards on roads and gates often need the estate association's or authority's consent as well as the civic body's. Ask who manages the roads.
Exhibition week media
Panels at the approach to an exhibition hall are sold by the venue's approved media owners. Ask the organiser who sells approach and gate media, and book before the dates fill.
Your own gate and boundary
Your gate board is yours to design. Check the lease or plot allotment conditions for signage, and keep the licence for any lit board.
The specification, not a slogan
Name the part, the material and the standard in plain words. A buyer reads the specification in a passing glance and the slogan not at all.
Estate board as a source
Add 'estate board' to the enquiry source list, print a number used only on that board, and ask the caller which road they were on.
Licence and panel size
Ask for the licence, the panel size and the display dates in writing. A structure without a licence can be taken down while your order runs.

Who it is for

This is written for these manufacturing companies.

  • Component and parts manufacturers
  • Industrial equipment manufacturers
  • Chemical and process manufacturers
  • Textile and garment manufacturers
  • Packaging manufacturers
  • Contract and private label manufacturers
  • Export-oriented manufacturing units
  • Manufacturers supplying government and institutional buyers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the outdoor advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Draw the catchment

We agree the roads, junctions and neighbourhoods your buyer moves through. It is almost always a smaller area than an owner first says, and a clinic in Nagarbhavi does not need the whole of west Bengaluru.

  2. 2

    Survey what is available

We work through the sites on offer inside that catchment and go and stand in front of the ones worth looking at.

  3. 3

    Compare and book

Sites are compared on facing, visibility, illumination and cycle length, then booked through the media owner or their agency at a negotiated rate.

  4. 4

    Print to specification

Artwork is made to the exact panel size and delivered ahead of mounting day, with a proof you approve before printing.

  5. 5

    Monitor the cycle

We collect mounting and mid-cycle photographs, and take up anything late, torn or unlit with the media owner while the cycle is still running.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

All case studies
  • SB Engineering

    Situation
Buyers searching for laser cutting and sheet metal work in Bengaluru were finding other suppliers first, because the company did not rank for the terms its own customers type.
    What we did
    • The site redesigned for mobile
    • Search work on the buyer's terms
    • Content that shows the work
    • Social channels managed
    Result
    • Website traffic rose 60% within six months, against a target of 50%.
    • High-quality leads rose 45%, with a rise in conversion rates alongside them.
    • Fifteen target keywords moved up the rankings, five of them into the top three positions.

  • HOPO Hardware

    Situation
There was no website or online platform of any kind, so nothing showed the products, their features or their technical specifications. A dealer who wanted a specification had to ask for it every time.
    What we did
    • Website and product catalogue
    • Logo and colour palette
    • Printed stationery
    • Social accounts opened
    Result
No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Does a hoarding make sense when we sell to twelve buyers?
No. If the whole market is a dozen procurement teams spread across four states, the money belongs in a plant visit, an exhibition stall and search. Outdoor earns its place when your buyers sit on a few estates, or when you are hiring for the shop floor.
How do we know a board brought an enquiry?
The number on it, used nowhere else, and one question on the enquiry form. A structure counts nothing, and no media owner can tell you who drove past it. We report calls on that line and the RFQs that name the board, and leave the rest out.
Our biggest buyers are in another city. Should we advertise there?
Outdoor reaches people passing a site. If your buyers cluster in one estate in that city, one panel on its road can work. If they are spread out, search, trade directories and visits reach them better. Check that city's rules.
Can we advertise near a trade fair without being an exhibitor?
The venue's surroundings are sold separately from stall space. Ask the organiser what is allowed around the venue and who the approved media owners are. Rules at the venue differ from those on the public road, and both change.
Do we need to advertise?
Most manufacturers gain more first from a faster quote and a clearer capability page. Advertising helps when one product category or export market needs pushing this quarter.
Our buyers are engineers. Will your copy be technically right?
Only if your engineers check it, so we build that step in. We draft from your drawings, machine list and test certificates. Someone on your side signs off every capability claim before it goes live.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
