Mineral trading companies · Website

Put the grades, the loading points and the way to ask for a quote on one site.

A website for a mineral trader is the page a purchase team opens to judge whether the firm is real, what it supplies and how to ask for a lot. GullySales works on the structure, the writing of each mineral page and an enquiry form that asks the questions your desk needs answered.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For mineral trading companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The first visit is a credibility check”

A plant buyer who has been given your name looks you up before ringing. A site with only a logo and a mobile number does not show that the firm handles lots, so the buyer moves to a trader who does.

  • “Grades belong on the page”

Visitors want the mineral, the grade or specification range and the loading region. A page of general claims about quality sends them back to the search results.

  • “The enquiry form asks too little or too much”

A form with only a name and number produces calls that begin with 'what is the rate?'. A form with twenty fields is abandoned. Four or five well-chosen questions bring useful enquiries.

  • “Handling is part of what you sell”

A buyer wants to know how lots are sampled, weighed and loaded. A section describing that routine, in plain words, answers a doubt that otherwise goes to a competitor.

What we do

What we deliver for mineral trading companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Site structure

Home, one page per mineral, about the firm, how we handle lots, and contact.

Result: A map where every mineral you trade has a page.

  2. Mineral page writing

Text for each page covering grade, source regions, checking practice and how to request a rate sheet.

Result: Each page can be read by a buyer without a call.

  3. Enquiry form

Fields for mineral, grade, quantity, destination and payment terms, sent to the desk with the page it came from.

Result: Every submission shows what the buyer wants and where they started.

  4. Trust pages

A page on how lots are handled, which documents accompany an invoice and who a buyer speaks to.

Result: A new plant can see the process before the first order.

  5. Build, check and handover

The site made to work on a phone, tested on the form and handed to you with the means to edit.

Result: You can change a grade page without waiting on anyone.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need to name our suppliers on the site?
No, and we advise against it. Describe the regions and the kind of source, and keep the names in your own records for the buyers you choose to tell.
Can the site show live rates?
It can, but we do not recommend it. A rate shown a few hours old misleads a buyer. Offer a request for the current rate sheet instead.
Who maintains the site afterwards?
You decide. The pages are built so your team can edit a grade or a loading point, and we can handle larger changes if you ask.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
