GullySales

Pharmacies · Local SEO

A wrong closing time takes you out of the open now result.

For a chemist the listing is the business, because most customers are decided by distance and by whether you are open. GullySales sets the real hours including late nights and holidays, names the clinic you sit beside, and watches direction requests rather than clicks.

A market cross in a small town square: a stepped stone cross of four worn tiers standing in a ring of cobbles, a coil of stall rope left on the bottom step, a chalk pitch marked out on the stones and a chalk arrow pointing in from the nearest lane

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For pharmacies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The open now filter is the whole late-night market

A listing showing nine when you close at midnight is invisible from nine onwards. Those are three hours of the highest intent in the day.

  • Your landmark matters more than your address

People arrive from a clinic gate or a hospital exit, not from a road name. Naming that landmark is how somebody standing there finds you.

  • Direction requests are the number to watch

A chemist gets walked to more often than telephoned. Most owners look only at calls and miss the measure that actually matters here.

  • Festival nights are exactly when the hours are wrong

The one evening a family urgently needs a chemist is the evening your listing says closed, because nobody set the holiday hours.

What we do

What we deliver for pharmacies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Real hours, including late nights and holidays

Daily hours set correctly, plus special hours entered in advance for the festivals and public holidays when most listings quietly go wrong.

Result: You stay in the open now result when it counts.

  2. Categories and attributes that match what you do

Pharmacy categories, home delivery, the goods you carry and the payment options set on the profile rather than left at whatever was there.

Result: The filters people use include you.

  3. The landmark written into the description

The clinic, hospital or junction you sit beside, named on the profile, because that is how people describe where they are standing.

Result: Somebody at the clinic gate finds the door.

  4. Photographs of the front, the counter and the street

Pictures showing the shop from the road after dark, the counter and the delivery arrangement, so a first-time customer recognises the place.

Result: People find you at eleven at night.

  5. A review flow from walk-ins and deliveries

A short ask at the counter and on delivery, kept clear of anything about a medicine, so reviews arrive steadily instead of only after complaints.

Result: The listing carries recent, ordinary praise.

  6. A monthly note on calls, directions and open-now

Calls, direction requests and how often you appeared when somebody filtered for open now, read against the figures from before the work.

Result: You can see the late-night visibility change.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these pharmacies.

  • Independent neighbourhood chemists
  • Pharmacies attached to a clinic or nursing home
  • Hospital pharmacies serving outpatients
  • Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras and generic medicine stores
  • Multi-outlet local pharmacy chains
  • Franchise outlets of national pharmacy brands
  • Surgical and medical equipment stores
  • Pharmacies stocking Ayurvedic and homoeopathic medicines
  • Twenty-four hour and late-night pharmacies

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for pharmacies

  1. 1

    Assess

We check your listing hours and reviews, how quickly WhatsApp orders are answered, how many regular customers bought last quarter but not this one, and what your current promotions say.

  2. 2

Fix the counter and the phone

A WhatsApp prescription routine with a reply time the staff can keep, a delivery slot promise, and a stock check before confirming.

  3. 3

    Know the regulars

A register of monthly customers from the billing data, with their refill dates and consent to be reminded, kept private and separate from marketing lists.

  4. 4

    Promote what the law allows

Local search, the pharmacist's service, delivery and devices, wellness and baby care, with prescription medicines kept out of any advertising.

  5. 5

    Keep them from switching

Refill reminders before the month's stock runs out, a check-in when a regular stops buying, and a reason to stay that is service, not only price.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We are open till midnight but the listing says nine. Who fixes that?
You do, in an afternoon, and it is the highest-value hour of work available to you. Set the daily hours, then set the special hours for every festival and holiday in the coming year while you are in there.
A chain two roads away has far more reviews. Does that settle it?
Not by itself. Distance and hours usually count for more with a chemist, and a nearer shop that is open beats a better-rated one that is shut. Collect reviews steadily, and fix the hours first.
Can a pharmacy advertise medicines?
Not prescription medicines. Under the Drugs and Cosmetics rules, Schedule H, H1 and X drugs are sold only against a prescription and should not be promoted to the public. The Drugs and Magic Remedies Act forbids any advertisement claiming a medicine treats listed conditions. We promote your service, delivery, devices and general range instead.
Can we offer discounts to match online pharmacies?
That is a business decision for you, and chemist associations and some state drug controllers have taken strong positions on it. We do not build campaigns around discounts on prescription medicines. We compete on delivery, reliability and the pharmacist's advice, which the apps find harder to match.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
