Pharmacies · Reputation management

You cannot answer a review by naming what the customer bought.

A chemist's reply to a public complaint has to stay away from the medicine, the condition and the patient, which rules out the detailed answer most trades give. GullySales writes replies that work inside that limit, and fixes the substitution and stock-out habits behind most complaints.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For pharmacies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Confirming what somebody bought is the mistake

The natural reply names the item and the date. In this trade that is a patient's private information, published by you.

  • Almost every one star is a stock-out or a bill

He came twice and you did not have it, or an app quoted less. Neither is about the pharmacist and both are fixable at the counter.

  • Your most loyal customers will never write a review

The woman who has bought from you for ten years does not use Maps. The ask has to be made by hand, at the counter, by somebody she knows.

  • A substitute complaint is a conversation nobody had

He wanted the brand the doctor wrote. Told at the counter, that is a choice. Discovered at home, it is a review.

What we do

What we deliver for pharmacies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A review ask made when the order went right

At the counter after a smooth purchase, or on delivery when the slot was kept, with a short link on the bill rather than a message days later.

Result: Reviews come from the moments you handled well.

  2. A reply template that names nothing

A short public answer that thanks, regrets the experience and offers a direct number, with no mention of any medicine, condition or date of purchase.

Result: You reply without publishing somebody's private details.

  3. A substitution script used before billing

The words the counter uses to explain a substitute, the price difference and the option to wait, said before the bill is made rather than after.

Result: The commonest complaint stops being generated.

  4. A stock-out routine with a time attached

Instead of a plain no, the date it will arrive, an offer to deliver it and a call when it lands, noted in a small register at the counter.

Result: Customers wait for you rather than walking on.

  5. A weekly watch on the shop name

The shop name, the spellings people actually use and the owner's name checked once a week across Maps, JustDial and the review sites.

Result: Nothing about the shop stands unanswered for a month.

  6. A monthly read of complaint reasons

Complaints counted by cause, whether stock, billing, substitution, delivery or staff, and taken to the counter team instead of filed away.

Result: The cause gets fixed instead of answered.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these pharmacies.

  • Independent neighbourhood chemists
  • Pharmacies attached to a clinic or nursing home
  • Hospital pharmacies serving outpatients
  • Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras and generic medicine stores
  • Multi-outlet local pharmacy chains
  • Franchise outlets of national pharmacy brands
  • Surgical and medical equipment stores
  • Pharmacies stocking Ayurvedic and homoeopathic medicines
  • Twenty-four hour and late-night pharmacies

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for pharmacies

  1. 1

    Assess

We check your listing hours and reviews, how quickly WhatsApp orders are answered, how many regular customers bought last quarter but not this one, and what your current promotions say.

  2. 2

Fix the counter and the phone

A WhatsApp prescription routine with a reply time the staff can keep, a delivery slot promise, and a stock check before confirming.

  3. 3

    Know the regulars

A register of monthly customers from the billing data, with their refill dates and consent to be reminded, kept private and separate from marketing lists.

  4. 4

    Promote what the law allows

Local search, the pharmacist's service, delivery and devices, wellness and baby care, with prescription medicines kept out of any advertising.

  5. 5

    Keep them from switching

Refill reminders before the month's stock runs out, a check-in when a regular stops buying, and a reason to stay that is service, not only price.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we reply to a review that names the medicine somebody bought?
Reply, but confirm none of it. Thank them, regret the experience and give a number to call. Repeating the medicine or the condition publishes patient information, and that becomes your problem even though they wrote it first.
Somebody posted that an app charged less than we did. What now?
Answer once, without arguing about price. Say what you do that an app does not: stock checked before confirming, delivery the same evening, and a pharmacist who reads the prescription. Then leave it alone.
Can a pharmacy advertise medicines?
Not prescription medicines. Under the Drugs and Cosmetics rules, Schedule H, H1 and X drugs are sold only against a prescription and should not be promoted to the public. The Drugs and Magic Remedies Act forbids any advertisement claiming a medicine treats listed conditions. We promote your service, delivery, devices and general range instead.
Can we offer discounts to match online pharmacies?
That is a business decision for you, and chemist associations and some state drug controllers have taken strong positions on it. We do not build campaigns around discounts on prescription medicines. We compete on delivery, reliability and the pharmacist's advice, which the apps find harder to match.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
