Electrical and lighting dealers · Branding

The counter looks like a godown and the showroom has to look designed.

An electrical dealer has to look like two things at once: a counter a contractor trusts for stock, and a showroom a designer will bring a client to. GullySales settles the name, the two spaces, the rate list and the delivery vehicle so they read as one business.

A sign-painter's bench: a shop sign on a low easel lettered as far as its last character, which is still only pencilled in, a mahl stick laid across the work, open tins of paint on the floor and a finished sign hanging from its iron bracket above

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For electrical and lighting dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A designer will not bring a client through a godown

Premium lighting is specified by people who notice what a space looks like. A separate entrance, a darkened display area and somewhere to sit change which projects reach you.

  • The rate list is a document with your name on it

It gets forwarded, photographed and kept in a contractor's phone for a year. A clean, dated sheet carrying your terms says more about the business than the signboard does.

  • Your name has to survive the brand boards

Every wire and switch company will happily cover your front in their colours. Keep your own name and the trade you are known for at the top, readable from the road.

  • The delivery vehicle is seen at every site you supply

Material arriving on a marked vehicle tells a whole site who supplies this job. An unmarked tempo tells them nothing at all.

What we do

What we deliver for electrical and lighting dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Your name held above the brand boards

One legible shop name on the front, manufacturer boards placed where their agreements require, and the front lit after dark.

Result: People can name the shop they bought from.

  2. Two spaces given their own character

A counter arranged for speed and stock, and a lighting area that can be darkened so fittings show properly, with somewhere to sit.

Result: Each buyer meets a shop set up for them.

  3. A rate list worth forwarding

A dated sheet with your terms, delivery arrangement, GST details and contact, clean enough to be passed on without embarrassment.

Result: The document that travels carries your name well.

  4. The delivery vehicle marked

Shop name, phone number and the trade in readable letters on the vehicle reaching sites every day.

Result: Every site you supply knows who supplied it.

  5. A trade pack for designers and consultants

Brands carried, sample terms, project references and a named contact, in a document a practice can file and find again.

Result: You are remembered when a specification is written.

  6. One look across counter, bill and screen

Name, colours and typeface used the same way on the board, the bill, the rate list, the vehicle and the Maps profile.

Result: The business looks the same wherever it is met.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

How the work runs for electrical and lighting dealers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at who buys at your counter, how showroom visits are recorded, how project quotes are followed up and how you appear on Maps.

  2. 2

    Record the buyers

A record of electricians, showroom visitors and project quotes, with follow-up rules for each.

  3. 3

Show both sides of the shop

Maps, website pages and Instagram set up so the trade counter and the lighting showroom are each found by their own buyers.

  4. 4

    Reach the influencers

Programmes for electricians, designers and consultants, with referrals recorded against each.

  5. 5

    Grow each order

Whole-house lighting packages and smart switch upgrades, reviewed against actual sales.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

  • France Fox

    Situation
Eco claims are common enough in menswear that buyers discount them on sight. France Fox had a real production story and nowhere to set it out, which is the wrong way round.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should the lighting showroom have a different name?
Generally not, because the goodwill at the counter is worth carrying across. Give it a clear sub-name and its own entrance where the two spaces feel wrong together. Two unrelated names means paying to build trust twice.
Is a showroom refit worth the money?
It depends which business you want more of. For decorative and architectural lighting, being able to switch fittings on in a dark, finished space decides orders. For a counter selling wire and MCBs, lighting the shelves and clearing the aisle matters more.
How do we compete with Amazon for lighting?
By being the place a family sees the light switched on and gets advice on how many fixtures a room needs. Record the visit, follow up with photos and a clear price, and offer installation through an electrician you trust.
How can we get electricians to send owners to us?
Give them a reason every week, not once a year. Keep the brands they prefer in stock and serve them fast at the counter. Then record each owner they send, so you can thank them for it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
