Electrical and lighting dealers · Social media

Instagram sells the chandelier and WhatsApp status sells the new stock.

Social media splits the way the shop does: lit fittings for families and designers on Instagram, new stock for the electricians in your phone on WhatsApp. GullySales runs both, keeps the enquiries each brings in one record, and shoots the fittings where they are installed.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For electrical and lighting dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A fitting sells when it is photographed in somebody's house

A catalogue image of a pendant sits on every dealer's page in the country. The same light over a real dining table in a flat nearby is the post that brings a visit.

  • Electricians are on WhatsApp all day and Instagram never

The people who decide which switch brand goes into a house read status updates between jobs. Stock arrivals, a rate change and a scheme belong there.

  • Designers save posts and never comment

A practice will quietly collect three of your pictures and then ask for a sample. Give them what they check: beam angle, colour temperature, profile depth.

  • Festival lighting has a two-week window

Facade and string lighting is bought in the fortnight before the festival and is dead weight after it. Post it early and follow with the permanent outdoor range.

What we do

What we deliver for electrical and lighting dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A photograph routine for finished installations

Permission, an evening shoot and two pictures from each job where your fittings went in, with the room and the fitting noted.

Result: Posts show light in houses, not stock on shelves.

  2. A weekly rhythm for each audience

One finished room for Instagram and one stock or scheme update for the broadcast list, planned a fortnight ahead.

Result: Both sides of the shop are spoken to regularly.

  3. Captions written for the people who specify

Beam angle, colour temperature, wattage, finish and profile depth in the caption, with the range named.

Result: Designers and electricians get what they need to decide.

  4. A broadcast list instead of a group

Electricians and contractors on a broadcast list with their consent, receiving stock and rate updates rather than daily catalogues.

Result: Your updates get read instead of muted.

  5. Festival posting planned ahead

Facade, string and outdoor lighting posted in the weeks before the festival, with the permanent range following behind it.

Result: The short buying window is used properly.

  6. Enquiries from social recorded

Messages, comments and broadcast replies entered in the same enquiry book as counter and showroom enquiries.

Result: You can see what a post was worth in orders.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for electrical and lighting dealers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at who buys at your counter, how showroom visits are recorded, how project quotes are followed up and how you appear on Maps.

  2. 2

    Record the buyers

A record of electricians, showroom visitors and project quotes, with follow-up rules for each.

  3. 3

Show both sides of the shop

Maps, website pages and Instagram set up so the trade counter and the lighting showroom are each found by their own buyers.

  4. 4

    Reach the influencers

Programmes for electricians, designers and consultants, with referrals recorded against each.

  5. 5

    Grow each order

Whole-house lighting packages and smart switch upgrades, reviewed against actual sales.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

  • France Fox

    Situation
Eco claims are common enough in menswear that buyers discount them on sight. France Fox had a real production story and nowhere to set it out, which is the wrong way round.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What do we post between festivals?
Installations. One finished room a week, with the fittings named and the wattage given, is enough to keep the page alive. A shop that posts only during Diwali looks closed for the rest of the year.
Is a WhatsApp group for electricians a good idea?
A broadcast list works better, because a group fills with arguments and people leave it. Send stock arrivals, rate changes and a scheme, not a catalogue every day. Anybody who wants to reply will message you directly.
How do we compete with Amazon for lighting?
By being the place a family sees the light switched on and gets advice on how many fixtures a room needs. Record the visit, follow up with photos and a clear price, and offer installation through an electrician you trust.
How can we get electricians to send owners to us?
Give them a reason every week, not once a year. Keep the brands they prefer in stock and serve them fast at the counter. Then record each owner they send, so you can thank them for it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
