Electrical and lighting dealers · Digital marketing

Half of this business will never be won on a screen.

Digital marketing for an electrical dealer decides what is worth doing online and what belongs at the counter. GullySales puts the lighting showroom and the project desk online, keeps the electrician programme where it works, and reports enquiries from both sides against a single baseline.

A steam traction engine belted across a stackyard to a wooden threshing machine: the long flat belt taut between the flywheel and the drive pulley, the flywheel spinning, a straw elevator raking up off the far end, a full sack hanging on the sack spout, a corn stack half taken down behind and a water cart standing by

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For electrical and lighting dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The counter programme returns most and none of it is digital

Stock the brands your electricians ask for, serve them quickly and thank them for the owners they send. No campaign beats that, and saying so belongs in the plan.

  • The year has two peaks and they need different work

Fans and coolers before the summer; lighting before Diwali and through the finishing season of nearby projects. The plan settles what runs in each and what stops.

  • Everything online exists to produce a showroom visit

Maps, reels, advertisements and the website all point at a family standing under a lit fitting. Each of them gets measured on visits.

  • Project work moves on documents and meetings

Consultants and fit-out firms respond to a specification sheet and somebody turning up. That side gets a list and a calendar rather than a budget.

What we do

What we deliver for electrical and lighting dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A written split between counter, showroom and projects

What each side gets in money and in somebody's hours every month, agreed at the start of the quarter rather than argued about later.

Result: The quiet side stops living on leftovers.

  2. A season calendar for the year

Fans before summer, festival lighting in the fortnight before Diwali, retrofit outreach in the slow months and the finishing season of nearby projects.

Result: Spending follows the weeks people are buying.

  3. Everything pointed at a showroom visit

Maps, the website, social posts and advertising carrying the same ask and the same booking route.

Result: Each channel can be judged on people who came in.

  4. A contact calendar for consultants and designers

Who is visited, when, with which samples and what follow-up, kept as a working list rather than a campaign.

Result: The project side gets worked instead of hoped for.

  5. One enquiry record across both sides

Counter enquiries, showroom visits, WhatsApp materials lists and project quotations in one place, each with a source against it.

Result: You can compare where the orders really came from.

  6. A monthly report against the baseline

Enquiries by source, showroom visits, quotations, orders and the number of electricians buying, set beside the opening figures.

Result: You can see which half of the shop is growing.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for electrical and lighting dealers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at who buys at your counter, how showroom visits are recorded, how project quotes are followed up and how you appear on Maps.

  2. 2

    Record the buyers

A record of electricians, showroom visitors and project quotes, with follow-up rules for each.

  3. 3

Show both sides of the shop

Maps, website pages and Instagram set up so the trade counter and the lighting showroom are each found by their own buyers.

  4. 4

    Reach the influencers

Programmes for electricians, designers and consultants, with referrals recorded against each.

  5. 5

    Grow each order

Whole-house lighting packages and smart switch upgrades, reviewed against actual sales.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where do we start if we have never marketed the shop?
The Maps listing, photographs of the showroom with the lights on, and a way to record who visits. Those three cost little and everything else builds on them. Advertising into a showroom that keeps no record spends the money twice.
How do we split the budget between the two sides?
Most of the advertising money belongs on the lighting side, because that buyer can be reached by a screen. Keep a smaller, separate amount for samples, trade packs and visits to designers and consultants. The counter needs time rather than budget.
How do we compete with Amazon for lighting?
By being the place a family sees the light switched on and gets advice on how many fixtures a room needs. Record the visit, follow up with photos and a clear price, and offer installation through an electrician you trust.
How can we get electricians to send owners to us?
Give them a reason every week, not once a year. Keep the brands they prefer in stock and serve them fast at the counter. Then record each owner they send, so you can thank them for it.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
