Electrical and lighting dealers · Reputation management

The worst thing said about an electrical shop is said at a site.

A dealer's name travels two ways: reviews written by families after a fitting failed, and what an electrician says on a site about your rates and your stock. GullySales answers the first properly and builds the warranty routine that prevents the second, then asks for reviews where they count.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For electrical and lighting dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A light that failed in eight months is a warranty question

The customer thinks you should replace it, the brand's process says otherwise, and nobody explained that at the counter. Say it at the point of sale and the review is never written.

  • Counterfeit talk travels faster than any review

Wire and switches get copied, so one accusation at a site reaches every electrician on that job. Bills, batch numbers and the brand's own verification answer it; indignation does not.

  • Designers check your rating before they specify

A practice putting your fittings into a client's house is risking its own name. One unanswered complaint about a late delivery is enough for them to choose elsewhere.

What we do

What we deliver for electrical and lighting dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Warranty terms said out loud at the counter

What the brand covers on a fitting, for how long, what proof the customer must keep and who handles the claim, printed and sent on WhatsApp.

Result: Fewer arguments arrive after something fails.

  2. A claim routine somebody owns

Who registers a warranty claim with which company, how long it takes and how the customer is kept informed while it runs.

Result: The customer waits with you instead of writing about you.

  3. A reply built on the invoice record

A standard answer to a quality or counterfeit accusation quoting the bill, the batch and the brand's verification method, without publishing personal details.

Result: Readers see a dealer who keeps records.

  4. Reviews asked for from the retail side

A request to lighting customers and retrofit clients once the fittings are installed and working, with a short link on the invoice.

Result: Recent reviews come from the people who write them.

  5. Weekly alerts on the shop and the owner's name

Checks across Maps, social and the local groups for the shop name, its common spellings and the owner's name.

Result: Nothing sits unanswered while a project is being decided.

  6. A monthly read for the counter team

What the complaints were really about: rates, delivery, a failed product or waiting at the counter, discussed with the staff each month.

Result: The cause is dealt with by the people who create it.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for electrical and lighting dealers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at who buys at your counter, how showroom visits are recorded, how project quotes are followed up and how you appear on Maps.

  2. 2

    Record the buyers

A record of electricians, showroom visitors and project quotes, with follow-up rules for each.

  3. 3

Show both sides of the shop

Maps, website pages and Instagram set up so the trade counter and the lighting showroom are each found by their own buyers.

  4. 4

    Reach the influencers

Programmes for electricians, designers and consultants, with referrals recorded against each.

  5. 5

    Grow each order

Whole-house lighting packages and smart switch upgrades, reviewed against actual sales.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

A customer says the LED panel we sold is a duplicate. What do we do?
Answer with the record: the invoice, the batch and the brand's own way of checking a genuine product. Offer to raise it with the company while they watch. Arguing in public is what makes other readers believe it.
How do we get reviews when most customers are electricians?
Ask the retail side, where reviews actually get written: the family who bought lighting, the office whose tubes you replaced. Contractors give their verdict by ordering again. Ask them for an introduction rather than a rating.
How do we compete with Amazon for lighting?
By being the place a family sees the light switched on and gets advice on how many fixtures a room needs. Record the visit, follow up with photos and a clear price, and offer installation through an electrician you trust.
How can we get electricians to send owners to us?
Give them a reason every week, not once a year. Keep the brands they prefer in stock and serve them fast at the counter. Then record each owner they send, so you can thank them for it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
