Household products brands · Content marketing

Answer the question a homemaker asks before she picks up the bottle.

Content marketing for a household products brand means answering what buyers ask about cleaning: which cleaner suits which floor, how much to use, whether it is safe at home. GullySales collects those questions from retailers, calls and reviews, then writes each answer where the doubt arises.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the free audit onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For household products brands

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The same five safety questions reach your helpline”

Is it safe near a baby, on marble, with a septic tank, on steel pans, with pets? Written once on a page, they stop being calls.

  • “The shopkeeper is asked and cannot answer”

A kirana owner asked whether a toilet cleaner suits a steel sink says whatever he guesses. A card on the shelf gives him the right answer.

  • “Institutional buyers want a document, not a reel”

A hostel manager comparing cans needs dilution, surfaces and precautions on one sheet he can forward to his purchase department.

What we do

What we deliver for household products brands.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A question list from calls, shops and reviews

What homemakers, retailers and housekeeping heads asked, counted and ranked, so the writing starts with what stops a purchase.

Result: You write about what people ask.

  2. A which-cleaner-for-which-surface guide

Tile, marble, granite, steel, glass and laundry set against your products, from your own formulation sheet and checked by your chemist.

Result: A shopper picks the right bottle for her floor.

  3. Dose cards for each product

A photograph of the cap or pouch and what goes into a bucket, a sink or a wash, in the regional language, printed for the pack and the shelf.

Result: Use is clear, and the pack gets credit for the result.

  4. A safety page for each product

Precautions, dry time, first-aid line and surfaces to avoid, copied from the label and written in plain words, kept apart from the sales pages.

Result: A worried shopper finds the answer from the maker.

  5. An answer card for retailers

A pocket card with the three questions shoppers ask most and the answers for each product, so the shop recommends with confidence.

Result: The shopkeeper answers instead of guessing.

  6. A sheet for institutional buyers

Dilution, contact time, rinse, gloves and surfaces for each can product, written for a purchase department.

Result: A housekeeping head can compare you with a rival on paper.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Questions buyers ask first

The questions that stop the purchase of a cleaner, and the piece that answers each.

Is it safe on marble, granite or vitrified tiles?
A surface table from your formulation sheet, showing what each product suits and what to avoid. Ask your chemist to read it before it goes on the pack or the page.
Can I use it with a baby or a pet at home?
A safety page with the precautions as printed, the time the floor takes to dry and the first-aid line. Do not call a product non-toxic unless you can document it.
How much goes into one bucket or one wash?
A dose card with a photograph of the cap or pouch. Print it on the pack, the page and the retailer's card so all three say the same.
Liquid or powder for a front-load machine?
A comparison of your own liquid and powder, saying which machine and which wash each suits, and who should simply buy the powder.
Will it cut the grease in a hotel kitchen?
An institutional note with dilution, contact time, rinse and gloves. Have the chemist sign it off, since a kitchen supervisor will follow it to the letter.
Why does yours cost more than the sachet?
A cost-per-use page. Work out what one bucket or one wash costs with your pack from the label, and set it beside your own sachet, not a rival's.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for household products brands

  1. 1

    Read the records

In the free audit we go through billing by distributor and shop, institutional orders, returns of leaking stock and last season's sales, so the first decision rests on records.

  2. 2

    Fix the offer

Margins, schemes, claim rules, the can and pouch price lists and the sample terms, written down and checked against what the brand can afford after the festival.

  3. 3

Equip the shop and the buyer

Counter kits, dilution cards, a selling script for the salesman and a sheet or app he will actually fill in.

  4. 4

Open one channel at a time

A new district, hostels and hotels, apartments, a chain or quick commerce, each opened when the plant, the cash and the distributors can carry it.

  5. 5

    Run the seasons

Diwali, summer and monsoon plans built from what reordered last year, with schemes judged on shops reached, not cartons billed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Who writes about the chemistry, our chemist or the agency?
The agency drafts in plain words and your chemist reads every line on safety, dilution and surfaces before it goes up. A line that the chemist will not sign is cut. Nobody else knows which fragrance changed or which surface the formula marks.
Should we publish the ingredient list?
Publish what the label carries and the rules require, in the same words. If the formula is a trade secret, say what the label says and no more. Do not add claims about ingredients that the label does not make.
Is video better than text for cleaning products?
Both have a job. A short video shows a stain coming off and a dose measured. Text carries safety, dilution and surfaces, which people search for and forward. A purchase department wants the sheet, not the reel.
Do dose cards and guides need every language we sell in?
Cards on the shelf and the pack do, because the person reading them stands at the counter. The institutional sheet can stay in English and Hindi. Translate with a native speaker, since a wrong dose in a translation causes a complaint.
Is a refill pouch worth launching?
Often, for floor cleaner and dishwash, because the pouch costs less to make and carry and the shopper sees a lower price per use. Test it in one district beside the bottle first. Check that the shop keeps it upright, since pouches stacked badly leak.
How do we begin selling to hostels and hotels?
Start with ten or twenty institutions in one city. Send a can with a dilution card, ask who signs the purchase, and call when the trial is due to finish. Housekeeping heads reorder from whoever answered their questions and delivered when promised.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
