Household products brands · Reputation management

Answer the review about the leaking bottle the way the next buyer would want it answered.

Reputation management for a household products brand is how the brand answers reviews, complaints and copied packs on Google, marketplaces, quick commerce apps and trade portals. GullySales writes the replies for the complaints you really get, passes safety reports to your quality head and keeps the record of what was said.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For household products brands

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A fake pack collects your one-star review”

The liquid is thinner, the bottle looks the same, and the review carries your name. The reply has to ask for the batch code before it argues.

  • “A skin reaction is a safety report, not a review”

Treating a hand irritation as an unhappy customer loses the one chance to advise the buyer and tell your chemist.

  • “Distributors read your ratings before they sign”

A trader weighing a district checks the plant's Google rating and complaints on the trade portals, and sees how the brand answers a retailer.

What we do

What we deliver for household products brands.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A reply routine for leaks and loose caps

A reply that asks for the batch code and a photograph, replaces the pack through the distributor and logs the batch for the plant.

Result: The next reader sees a brand that fixes things.

  2. A safety reply and escalation path

A reply for any reaction or ingestion report that advises on first aid as the label says, asks to speak privately and goes straight to your quality head.

Result: A safety report reaches the person who must act.

  3. A reply for the copy and the fake

A reply that does not accuse the seller, asks for the batch code and seal, and a note on how to report the listing through the platform.

Result: The genuine pack is defended without a public fight.

  4. Review requests after a sample or a delivery

A polite ask to every buyer after a stall sample or a quick commerce delivery, with a link or QR, and no gift or gating.

Result: More real reviews arrive, from the people who used it.

  5. Watching the places where ratings sit

Google, Maps, IndiaMART, marketplaces and quick commerce pages checked for new reviews and questions in one list, with a person named for each.

    Result: Nothing sits unanswered.

  6. A read of what reviews complain about

Themes counted by product, fragrance and batch, then taken to the plant and the distributor instead of being filed with marketing.

Result: The fault is fixed where it starts.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to do with each review

How to answer each kind of review a cleaning or household brand gets.

A leaking pack or loose cap
Apologise, ask for the batch code and a photograph by private message, and replace the pack through the distributor. Log the batch, since two from one batch is a plant matter.
It irritated my skin
Treat it as a safety report. Reply with the first-aid line from the label, advise seeing a doctor if it persists, and ask to talk privately. Tell your quality head the same day.
It did not clean as the pack says
Ask which surface, how much was used and what water. Send the dose card, and replace the pack if the product is at fault. Do not argue in public.
A copy of our pack
Say that you cannot tell from the picture, and ask for the batch code and seal. Report the listing through the platform's own process and keep your evidence.
A fragrance complaint
Thank the reviewer, ask for the fragrance and the batch, and note both. A fragrance can differ between batches or be a matter of taste, and the reply should not claim which.
A retailer or distributor complaining about a claim or supply
Reply on the same platform with a name and a number, settle it by phone and add a line when it is done. Never write his payment details in the reply.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for household products brands

  1. 1

    Read the records

In the free audit we go through billing by distributor and shop, institutional orders, returns of leaking stock and last season's sales, so the first decision rests on records.

  2. 2

    Fix the offer

Margins, schemes, claim rules, the can and pouch price lists and the sample terms, written down and checked against what the brand can afford after the festival.

  3. 3

Equip the shop and the buyer

Counter kits, dilution cards, a selling script for the salesman and a sheet or app he will actually fill in.

  4. 4

Open one channel at a time

A new district, hostels and hotels, apartments, a chain or quick commerce, each opened when the plant, the cash and the distributors can carry it.

  5. 5

    Run the seasons

Diwali, summer and monsoon plans built from what reordered last year, with schemes judged on shops reached, not cartons billed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we ask for reviews after a sample at an apartment stall?
Yes, ask everyone who took a sample, not only the happy ones, and offer no gift for a review or for a good rating. Platforms keep changing their rules on asking, so check the current rules for each one before you start.
Do we reply to reviews in the reviewer's language?
Yes. A reply in Kannada under a Kannada review reads as a person and not a template. Keep the same facts in each language, and have a native speaker write the replies, particularly where safety or the dose is mentioned.
What if a review names our salesman?
Thank the reviewer for the praise and pass it on to him. For a complaint, never name the salesman in public, and look into it privately first. Ask the reviewer for the shop and date by message so you can check it.
Can a bad review, or a rival's fake review, be removed?
Only by the platform, and only if the review breaks its rules, so nobody can promise it. Report the review with your evidence and reply politely while you wait. Never pay or threaten a reviewer to take it down.
Is a refill pouch worth launching?
Often, for floor cleaner and dishwash, because the pouch costs less to make and carry and the shopper sees a lower price per use. Test it in one district beside the bottle first. Check that the shop keeps it upright, since pouches stacked badly leak.
How do we begin selling to hostels and hotels?
Start with ten or twenty institutions in one city. Send a can with a dilution card, ask who signs the purchase, and call when the trial is due to finish. Housekeeping heads reorder from whoever answered their questions and delivered when promised.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
