Household products brands · Search engine optimisation

Be found by the housekeeping head and the distributor, not only the homemaker.

SEO for a household products brand means appearing when a hostel, a hotel or a distributor searches for a cleaning supplier, and when a homemaker checks that an unfamiliar bottle is a real brand. GullySales builds a page for each product, each kind of buyer and each city you deliver to.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For household products brands

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Bulk buyers search by can size and city”

A hostel warden types floor cleaner five litre supplier and his city, then calls the first site that shows can sizes and a delivery area. A marketplace shows him one bottle.

  • “Distributorship searches end on portals”

A trader looking for a detergent distributorship in his district lands on listing sites that pass his number to several brands, and never reaches your plant's page.

  • “A homemaker checks the name after the free sample”

She tried your dishwash at an apartment stall, then looked the brand up for safety and where to buy. An empty page makes the second bottle less likely.

What we do

What we deliver for household products brands.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each product and pack

Floor cleaner, dishwash, phenyl and detergent each on its own page, with pack sizes, case quantity, fragrances and the declarations as printed on the label.

Result: A buyer finds the product he searched for.

  2. An institutional supply page

Can sizes, the cities you deliver to, how a sample is requested and who answers, written for hostels, hotels, hospitals and housekeeping contractors.

Result: Bulk buyers find a supplier page, not a consumer advert.

  3. A distributorship page that sorts the enquiries

Districts still open, what a distributor needs in godown and vehicle, how margin and schemes are agreed, and a form that asks which brands he carries now.

Result: Enquiries come from people who can run a district.

  4. Where-to-buy pages by city

The towns, the shop types and the apps that stock the brand, changed as distributors are added, so a shopper or a retailer can find the pack.

Result: Interest from a reel ends at a shelf, not a dead end.

  5. One name across every listing

Brand name, company name and plant address made the same on the site, the Business Profile, IndiaMART and the marketplace pages.

Result: A search for your name shows one company.

  6. Search enquiries counted by buyer type

Distributorship, institutional, private label and consumer enquiries from search recorded apart, against the baseline from the free audit.

Result: You know which page brought the distributor.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a housekeeping head, a distributor or a society manager types when sourcing cleaning products, and the page that answers it.

floor cleaner 5 litre can supplier for hostel
An institutional page. Show the can sizes, the cities you deliver to, how to ask for a sample, and whether a safety data sheet can be sent to a purchase department.
detergent powder distributorship in my district
A distributorship page. Name the districts still open, what he needs in godown and vehicle, how margin and schemes are agreed, and ask which brands he carries now.
phenyl manufacturer for housekeeping contractor
A contractor page. State whether you sell concentrate or ready-to-use phenyl, the fragrances, can sizes, minimum order and payment terms in plain words.
private label dishwash liquid manufacturer
A private label page. List the formats you fill, the minimum batch, the artwork you need from the buyer and the registrations you hold, and ask for the expected volume.
toilet cleaner bulk for apartment
A society page. Say who in a society usually places the order, the pack format that suits a caretaker, and the GST invoice details a committee's accountant asks for.
[your brand] dishwash where to buy
A store-finder page. List the towns, the shop types and the quick commerce apps that carry the pack, so a shopper finds a shelf instead of a rival's bottle.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for household products brands

  1. 1

    Read the records

In the free audit we go through billing by distributor and shop, institutional orders, returns of leaking stock and last season's sales, so the first decision rests on records.

  2. 2

    Fix the offer

Margins, schemes, claim rules, the can and pouch price lists and the sample terms, written down and checked against what the brand can afford after the festival.

  3. 3

Equip the shop and the buyer

Counter kits, dilution cards, a selling script for the salesman and a sheet or app he will actually fill in.

  4. 4

Open one channel at a time

A new district, hostels and hotels, apartments, a chain or quick commerce, each opened when the plant, the cash and the distributors can carry it.

  5. 5

    Run the seasons

Diwali, summer and monsoon plans built from what reordered last year, with schemes judged on shops reached, not cartons billed.

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a separate page for each fragrance and colour?
No. Give each product one page with the fragrances and colours listed on it, and make a separate page only when buyers search a variant by name. Many near-identical pages split what search engines can read and make a purchase manager's job harder.
Will homemakers searching in Kannada or Hindi find us?
Yes, if the pages are written in that language and not machine translated. Use the words a shopper says at the counter for the product, and keep the trade pages in English as well, since distributor and institutional enquiries arrive in both.
A duplicate of our pack shows up when people search our name. Can SEO fix it?
Not by itself. Add a page showing how to tell the genuine pack, with the batch code and seal, and report copied listings through each platform's own process. A trademark attorney advises on the legal route.
Should the plant address and licence details be public?
Yes. A distributor or a chain buyer checks that you exist before calling, and a plant address with licence details copied exactly from the certificates reads as a real maker. Leave trade rates off the page and give them in the reply.
Is a refill pouch worth launching?
Often, for floor cleaner and dishwash, because the pouch costs less to make and carry and the shopper sees a lower price per use. Test it in one district beside the bottle first. Check that the shop keeps it upright, since pouches stacked badly leak.
How do we begin selling to hostels and hotels?
Start with ten or twenty institutions in one city. Send a can with a dilution card, ask who signs the purchase, and call when the trial is due to finish. Housekeeping heads reorder from whoever answered their questions and delivered when promised.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
