Household products brands · Digital marketing

Spend online only where the pack already sits on a shelf near the buyer.

Digital marketing for a household products brand is the set of online channels, from Google Maps to quick commerce, that make a cleaner easy to find, easy to trust and easy to buy. GullySales picks the order, names who runs each channel and reads results against what shops and institutions actually bill.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For household products brands

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Ads run in cities with no stock”

A reel promotes a floor cleaner to a whole state while it is stocked in four districts, and the clicks land on a page that cannot say where to buy.

  • “The marketplace page is the only online presence”

A hotel buyer who looks you up after seeing a listing finds five photographs and nothing about the plant or the cans.

  • “Price per wash loses on a marketplace page”

A litre of your liquid sits beside five others sorted by price. Without a line on cost per use, the dearer bottle looks like the weaker one.

What we do

What we deliver for household products brands.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A first-channels order

A written order of work for this trade, starting with the profile and the pages and leaving ads and creators for later, with a named owner for each channel.

Result: Nobody spends on ads before the basics can take the traffic.

  2. A Business Profile for the plant and each depot

Categories, products, hours and a phone that is answered, so a hotel or a distributor who searches the area finds you on Maps.

Result: Calls from nearby buyers reach someone.

  3. A marketplace and quick commerce listing set

Titles, pack photographs, usage lines and a price-per-use line for your best sellers, matched to the label.

Result: A shopper has a reason to choose your bottle.

  4. An enquiry route for institutions

A form and a WhatsApp number for sample requests that reach one person, with the details a housekeeping head is asked for.

Result: A sample request does not sit in an inbox.

  5. Ads in stocked pin codes only

Search ads for bulk and distributorship terms, and social ads limited to areas where outlets hold the pack.

Result: Paid reach follows the shelf.

  6. Enquiries counted by source

Each channel given its own number or code, with the enquiries and the orders each one produced compared with the starting figures.

Result: You can say which channel sold what.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where to start for this trade

The first online jobs for a cleaner or home care maker, in the order to do them.

Business Profile for the plant, godown and depots
List each place a buyer can call or collect from, with products and hours. Note calls and direction requests before the profile is filled in and after.
A page for each product and for institutions
Write the pack sizes, uses and precautions as on the label, and a second page for bulk buyers. Record enquiries by page and what each became.
A WhatsApp list for retailers and housekeeping heads
Build it from your salesmen's phones and sample requests, with each person's consent. Its first job is a scheme notice. Record the cartons ordered in reply.
Marketplace and quick commerce listings
Start with two best sellers in one city. Match the title, image and pack to the label, add a cost-per-use line, and track orders and leak returns by pack.
Search and social ads in stocked pin codes
Bid for bulk and distributorship searches, and run social ads only where outlets hold stock. Compare billing in those areas with similar areas that saw no ads.
What to leave until later
A state-wide brand film, creators in other languages and an app of your own. Wait until distributors cover the area and shops reorder without a scheme.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for household products brands

  1. 1

    Read the records

In the free audit we go through billing by distributor and shop, institutional orders, returns of leaking stock and last season's sales, so the first decision rests on records.

  2. 2

    Fix the offer

Margins, schemes, claim rules, the can and pouch price lists and the sample terms, written down and checked against what the brand can afford after the festival.

  3. 3

Equip the shop and the buyer

Counter kits, dilution cards, a selling script for the salesman and a sheet or app he will actually fill in.

  4. 4

Open one channel at a time

A new district, hostels and hotels, apartments, a chain or quick commerce, each opened when the plant, the cash and the distributors can carry it.

  5. 5

    Run the seasons

Diwali, summer and monsoon plans built from what reordered last year, with schemes judged on shops reached, not cartons billed.

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can one person in our office run this?
For the profile, the WhatsApp list and the listings, yes, if that person has an hour a day and can reach the plant. Paid ads, tracking and institutional follow-up usually need a second pair of hands or an outside team.
Which channel first when the budget is small?
The Business Profile and the WhatsApp list cost mostly time, so they come first. Then pages for bulk buyers. Paid ads come after those can take the enquiries they bring, and only in pin codes where your pack is on a shelf.
How do we tell whether ads or shop boards sold more?
Give ads their own phone number or code, then compare billing in the shops near a board with similar shops far from one, over the same weeks. Your distributors' billing is the check on both.
Do paid ads and organic posts work against each other?
No. Organic posts show a shopper that the brand is real, and ads reach new people in the districts you stock. Use the same pack photographs and wording in both, or the shopper meets two different brands.
Is a refill pouch worth launching?
Often, for floor cleaner and dishwash, because the pouch costs less to make and carry and the shopper sees a lower price per use. Test it in one district beside the bottle first. Check that the shop keeps it upright, since pouches stacked badly leak.
How do we begin selling to hostels and hotels?
Start with ten or twenty institutions in one city. Send a can with a dilution card, ask who signs the purchase, and call when the trial is due to finish. Housekeeping heads reorder from whoever answered their questions and delivered when promised.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
