Household products brands · Social media

Show the stain coming off, in the language of the town that stocks the pack.

Social media for a household products brand is where a homemaker sees a cleaner working on a real stain, and where a retailer checks whether the brand is alive. GullySales plans posts around the cleaning seasons and the monsoon, and keeps a separate channel for the trade.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For household products brands

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A clean tile makes a dull video”

Floor cleaner and dishwash sell on proof, yet most posts show a bottle and a slogan. A greasy pan, a stain and a timer on screen do the selling.

  • “Reels travel into districts without stock”

A reel gets views in Hyderabad while the pack is stocked in two districts of Karnataka, and nobody watching can buy it.

  • “Chemicals look worrying in a post”

A cleaner shown near a child, or two products mixed in one bucket, frightens the viewer and invites a complaint. The frame has to be safe as well as clean.

What we do

What we deliver for household products brands.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Stain and grease demonstration shorts

Real stains on tiles, steel pans and laundry shot in a home kitchen, with the pack, the dose and the time on screen, in the regional language.

Result: A viewer sees the pack do its job.

  2. A season calendar

Diwali cleaning, summer floors, monsoon smells and term-opening for hostels set out on one page, with the shoots finished before each season starts.

Result: Content is ready the week buying starts.

  3. Ads limited to the pin codes you stock

Paid reach on Instagram and Facebook set to the areas where a distributor has placed the pack and a shop can sell it.

Result: Money goes to people who can buy on the way home.

  4. A broadcast list for retailers

A WhatsApp Business list that carries a new pack, a scheme and its end date to shopkeepers and distributors, kept apart from consumer posts.

Result: The trade hears about a launch from you first.

  5. Posts for apartment and neighbourhood groups

Stall dates, bulk offers for societies and a message route for a caretaker, posted with the group admin's permission.

Result: Societies know how to reach you.

  6. A routine for complaints in the comments

Leaks, a reaction and a suspected fake each answered in public with a request for the batch code, and the detail taken to a private message.

Result: A complaint ends in a replaced pack, not a long thread.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Platform for this buyer

Where a household products brand reaches homemakers, retailers and housekeeping heads, and the one action each post should ask for.

Instagram reels of the stain test
Film one stain on one surface, with the dose and the pack in frame. The action wanted is asking the nearest shop for the small pack by name.
YouTube Shorts in the regional language
Show how much goes into a bucket or onto a pan, in the speech of your market. The action wanted is opening the where-to-buy page.
WhatsApp broadcast to retailers
Send a new pack, the scheme on it and the last date, one scheme per message. The action wanted is a reply with the number of cartons, which the distributor fills.
Facebook and apartment groups
Post stall dates and a society offer, once the group's admin agrees. The action wanted is a message to book a stall or ask for a bulk quote.
LinkedIn for institutional buyers
Post the can range with a dilution card and one named contact. The action wanted is a sample request from a housekeeping head or a facility manager.
What not to post
No two cleaners mixed in one bucket, no child near a bottle, and no germ-kill or chemical-free line without a test report behind it. Check the platform's current rules.

Who it is for

This is written for these household products brands.

  • Detergent powder, bar and liquid brands
  • Dishwash gel, liquid and bar makers
  • Floor, toilet and glass cleaner brands
  • Phenyl, disinfectant and bleach makers
  • Mosquito repellent and air freshener brands
  • Scrubber, sponge, wipe, mop and broom makers
  • Garbage bag, foil, tissue and kitchen roll brands
  • Institutional and housekeeping chemical suppliers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for household products brands

  1. 1

    Read the records

In the free audit we go through billing by distributor and shop, institutional orders, returns of leaking stock and last season's sales, so the first decision rests on records.

  2. 2

    Fix the offer

Margins, schemes, claim rules, the can and pouch price lists and the sample terms, written down and checked against what the brand can afford after the festival.

  3. 3

Equip the shop and the buyer

Counter kits, dilution cards, a selling script for the salesman and a sheet or app he will actually fill in.

  4. 4

Open one channel at a time

A new district, hostels and hotels, apartments, a chain or quick commerce, each opened when the plant, the cash and the distributors can carry it.

  5. 5

    Run the seasons

Diwali, summer and monsoon plans built from what reordered last year, with schemes judged on shops reached, not cartons billed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we show two of our cleaners being used together?
Only if your label says they can be. Many cleaners must not be mixed, and a video that does it will be copied by viewers. Show one product on one task, and say on screen which surface it is for.
Who should be on camera?
A real homemaker, a housekeeping supervisor or a shop owner in your market, each with written consent. Keep children out of any frame with a cleaner, and avoid an actor in a lab coat, which viewers read as an advertisement for itself.
Should we post in Hindi or in the local language?
Use the language your homemakers speak at the counter for consumer posts, and Hindi or English for the trade. Captions in two scripts cost little and cover a market where distributors read one and shoppers read the other.
Can we compare our cleaner with a leading brand in a video?
Naming a rival raises advertising-law questions that differ by case, so take advice before you try it. A safer video tests your own cleaner on a stain and says what it is, without the other bottle in frame.
Is a refill pouch worth launching?
Often, for floor cleaner and dishwash, because the pouch costs less to make and carry and the shopper sees a lower price per use. Test it in one district beside the bottle first. Check that the shop keeps it upright, since pouches stacked badly leak.
How do we begin selling to hostels and hotels?
Start with ten or twenty institutions in one city. Send a can with a dilution card, ask who signs the purchase, and call when the trial is due to finish. Housekeeping heads reorder from whoever answered their questions and delivered when promised.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
