Manufacturing · CNC Machining & Precision Engineering

We make parts that hold a tight tolerance, and the website describes them as general engineering.

The buyer of precision components is not buying a part. They are buying the absence of trouble on their line. A rejected lot stops an assembly and costs more than the part is worth, so the buyer looks for evidence of control: gauges, calibration, process records and a supplier who answers when something goes wrong.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

A machinist measures a precision component beside CNC equipment

In one paragraph

Precision components are machined parts made to close tolerances and documented inspection, supplied against a repeat drawing to an OEM or a tier-one supplier. GullySales helps precision component makers present their quality system and measuring capability, and follow each approved sample through to a supply agreement.

Who it is for

This is written for you if precision components is what you make or sell.

  • Makers of machined components for automotive, hydraulic, instrument and medical customers
  • Shops with a measuring room, calibrated gauges and process records
  • Suppliers who want to move from approved vendor on paper to a regular order book
  • Companies seeking tier-one and OEM supply, not job-work rates

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A shop without a measuring room or any calibration routine
  • A unit that wants precision positioning on the website before the quality system exists

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of precision components.

  1. Vendor registration and a supplier questionnaire

A large buyer sends a form on quality systems, equipment, capacity and financial standing. The shop that answers it quickly and completely gets to the sample stage.

  2. Sample approval and a documented first article

A sample is submitted with a dimensional report and material certificate, and it is approved or rejected against the drawing. Approval is the point at which a new supplier becomes a real one.

  3. Certificates held by the shop

Quality system certification, if held, is asked for by name. The page states what is held and what has been audited, and nothing beyond that.

  4. Capacity and continuity

The buyer asks what happens if a machine fails, whether there is a second source for material, and what the shop's largest customer share is.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell precision components.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “We passed the audit and got no orders”

Vendor registration opens a door, but the buyer's engineers still place orders with who they know. Nobody keeps in touch after the approval letter arrives.

  • “Our quality system is invisible”

The measuring room is good and nothing about it is on the website or in the quotation. Buyers assume the worst when they cannot see it.

  • “We take the sample seriously and then lose the lot”

The sample is perfect, then the first production lot is quoted at a rate the buyer negotiates down. Price and quality are discussed at the wrong time.

What we do

What you get for precision components.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A supplier information pack

A short document with equipment, capacity, quality system and industries served. It saves a day of answering the same questionnaire repeatedly.

  2. A sample report in the buyer's layout

A dimensional report that mirrors the drawing balloons and shows tolerance found. Buyers approve what they can read quickly.

  3. A post-approval contact plan

A list of the people at the buyer and a reason to call each. It turns an approval letter into a conversation.

  4. A part-family page with drawings described, not shown

The kind of component, the materials and the tolerance band achieved, with no customer drawing exposed.

  5. A response sheet for supplier questionnaires

Standard answers ready to paste and check. It makes you quicker than competing vendors on the first form.

How the result is measured

  • Vendor registrations started and completed
  • Samples submitted and approved
  • Quotation requests
  • Follow-up on each quotation
  • Trial orders won
  • Repeat orders

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Certificates held and the date of the last audit
  • List of measuring equipment and calibration records
  • A sample dimensional report
  • Vendor questionnaires you have filled in before
  • The industries you supply and the ones you want to
  • Your largest customer's share of your work, for your own view

Export and new regions

Selling precision components beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. Exporting precision components

Overseas OEMs and distributors buy from Indian suppliers who can show inspection records. The first step is the export buyers you already serve and what they asked for.

  2. Documents and certificates

Certificates of conformity, material test reports and inspection records are common asks. Which apply to your part is settled with the buyer and your adviser.

  3. Language and time zones

Quality correspondence needs precise English. Drawing numbers, revisions and dates are written out in full.

FAQ

Questions about selling precision components.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do I need a quality certificate to sell precision components?
Some buyers require one and others do not. Many ask for your inspection practice first. Say what you hold, show the measuring room, and let the buyer decide.
How long does vendor approval take?
It depends on the buyer and is not something marketing controls. What marketing can do is get your information pack in front of the right person and keep the conversation alive during the wait.
Why do we lose lots after a sample is approved?
Often because nobody has spoken to the buyer since. The approval was seen as the end. A follow-up on production quantities and schedule is the step that gets the lot.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.
