The buyer needs to know your camera will catch their defect, and a brochure cannot prove that.

A vision buyer does not want a camera. They want the scratch, the missing cap or the wrong label caught, every time, at line speed. Whether that is possible depends on the part, the surface, the light and the speed, and the buyer cannot judge it from a catalogue.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

An electronics engineer inspects circuit boards at an assembly bench

In one paragraph

Machine vision is the use of cameras, lighting and software to inspect, measure, read or guide parts on a line without a person looking. GullySales helps vision firms show their work on real parts, qualify enquiries that begin with a defect, and follow up trials through to an order.

So the sale runs on a trial. The plant sends samples, you test them, and you show what is found and what is missed. A firm that hides the misses loses trust. A firm that explains them wins it.

Who it is for

This is written for you if machine vision is what you make or sell.

  • Vision integrators inspecting parts for auto, packaging and electronics makers
  • Firms making code reading, label checking and cap or fill inspection systems
  • Makers of measuring and gauging systems using cameras
  • Software firms building inspection applications on top of standard cameras

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A firm that would promise to detect any defect on any part before seeing samples
  • A firm that offers only cameras and leaves the setup to the buyer

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of machine vision.

  1. Samples first, price after

The plant sends good and bad parts. Whoever returns a clear result, with images of what was caught and what was not, is trusted with the project.

  2. Defect described in the plant's words

The buyer says 'burr on the edge' or 'cap not seated'. Matching that language in your pages and replies shows you work on their kind of part.

  3. Line speed and throughput

The question is whether the system keeps up with the line. Stating the conditions of past installations, rather than a general speed, is the honest answer.

  4. Changeover and retraining

A plant making many variants asks how a new part is taught and by whom. A system that only the vendor can retrain worries them.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell machine vision.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “They sent samples, we reported, and they vanished”

The trial report goes by email and no one talks to the quality head about it.

  • “Every enquiry is a different defect and we answer from scratch”

There is no library of past inspections, so the first reply is written new each time.

  • “Buyers think a vision system is a plug-in”

They expect a price on a call. The honest answer needs the part and the line, which loses the impatient ones unless the page explains why.

The scope

The work we would propose for machine vision.

Measured on qualified enquiries, quotation requests, follow-up on each quotation, trial orders won and repeat orders. Anything here that needs a platform, directory or tool we have not used with you is confirmed with you before it goes in the scope.

What we do

What you get for machine vision.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. Defect-led page set

A plant searching for a defect by name finds a page showing how it is inspected.

  2. A sample-trial request form

Collects the defect, the line speed and the shipment details so a trial can start on receipt.

  3. A trial-report walkthrough call

Turns an emailed report into a conversation with the person who decides.

  4. An image library of past inspections

Shortens the first reply, and shows range to a new buyer.

How the result is measured

  • Sample trials requested
  • Trial reports sent
  • Follow-up made on each trial report
  • Projects won after trial
  • Repeat inspection stations at the same plant
  • Enquiries by defect type

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Past inspection projects with images where permitted
  • Parts and defects you handle well and those you decline
  • A sample trial report from a past enquiry
  • Camera and lighting brands you use
  • Plants waiting on a trial report right now

Export and new regions

Selling machine vision beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. Remote trials

Samples can travel and images return by email, which makes trials workable across borders. Courier time and customs paperwork for samples are part of the plan.

  2. Integration partners overseas

Some buyers abroad want a vision system integrated by a local firm. Whether you supply the system alone is a decision for you.

FAQ

Questions about selling machine vision.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should I admit what my system cannot catch?
Yes. Say which defects need a different light or a different method. A buyer who finds the limit during a trial and not before will remember. One who is told early trusts the rest.
Can I publish images from customers' parts?
Only with their agreement. Many allow it if part numbers and logos are hidden. We keep a note of who agreed to what.
Do I need a page per camera brand?
No. Buyers search for the defect and the part. Mention brands once on a technology page for those who search by brand.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
