Every spring is custom, and the enquiry dies if the buyer cannot send the specification.

A spring is bought by specification, and most buyers do not know how to write one. They have an old spring in a bag and a machine that fails without it. The maker who can work from the old spring, a sketch or a load requirement gets the order.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

An industrial supplier checks gears, bearings, valves and fasteners

In one paragraph

Springs are wound or formed wire and strip parts such as compression, extension and torsion springs, made to a wire size, free length, rate and load. GullySales helps a spring maker take a specification from a buyer cleanly, show what they can wind, and follow up each quotation.

That makes the enquiry itself the first sales tool. A form that asks the right five questions turns a vague call into a quotation request.

Who it is for

This is written for you if springs is what you make or sell.

  • Makers of compression, extension and torsion springs
  • Wire form and flat spring makers, clips and retaining rings
  • Makers of heavy springs for rail, vehicles and industrial equipment
  • Small coiling shops supplying OEMs and repair buyers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A trader who stocks standard springs for resale.
  • A maker who cannot test load and free length on a delivered lot.

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of springs.

  1. The sample, the drawing or the load figure

Buyers start with a sample spring, a sketch or a required load at a given length. Whoever can quote from any of these is easy to buy from.

  2. Wire material and finish

Music wire, stainless, oil-tempered or alloy wire, with a plating or coating for corrosion. The buyer asks which you use and where the wire comes from.

  3. Load testing and set removal

A report on free length, rate and load at height, on the sample lot, shows the spring will behave as the original.

  4. Fatigue life where it matters

Valves, clutches and suspension need a life requirement. Buyers in those sectors ask what testing you can do.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell springs.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “People ring with a spring in hand and no drawing”

Without a way to take the photo, the measurements and the use, the call ends in a vague promise to send something.

  • “Our prices go out and nobody confirms”

A spring quote is quick to write and quick to forget. A follow-up routine closes the loop.

  • “We make good springs but only sell locally”

OEMs in other cities do not know a coiling shop exists in your town. Process pages and a capability list reach them.

The scope

The work we would propose for springs.

Measured on qualified enquiries, quotation requests, follow-up on each quotation, trial orders won and repeat orders. Anything here that needs a platform, directory or tool we have not used with you is confirmed with you before it goes in the scope.

  1. A page per spring type

Compression, extension, torsion, wire forms and flat springs, with the wire size and diameter range you wind.

  2. Material and test page

The wire grades you use, the finishes you can apply, and the load and length checks you do before dispatch.

What we do

What you get for springs.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A spring enquiry form with photo upload

Lets a buyer with a spring in hand send the details without a drawing.

  2. A spring capability sheet

Wire size range, spring types, materials and finishes on a page.

  3. A load test sample report

Shows the kind of record you issue.

  4. A quotation follow-up sheet

Every open quote and the next call.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries with a specification
  • Quotations sent
  • Sample approvals
  • Follow-up completed on each quotation
  • Repeat orders
  • New OEM accounts

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Wire size and spring size range you can coil
  • Springs you have made recently, with photographs
  • Testing equipment you own
  • Quotes sent in the last season
  • Customers by industry

Export and new regions

Selling springs beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. Overseas OEMs and repair buyers

Foreign buyers send a drawing or sample and want test records and a clear delivery date. Start from the export buyers you already have.

  2. Wire and standards

Say which wire grade and which standard you work to. Confirm what each buyer's market asks for before replying.

FAQ

Questions about selling springs.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can I quote a spring without a drawing?
Yes, from a sample or from the load and length required. Your form should ask for wire diameter, outer diameter, free length, coils and a photo.
How do I win repeat springs?
Keep the spec on file and call when the last lot should be running low. A record of what each customer buys is the beginning of that.
Should we publish the wire grades?
Yes. A buyer who needs stainless will not ring you to ask.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
