Manufacturing · Industrial Components

The buyer fears a fake or a failure, so they stay with the brand they know.

Nobody switches bearing supplier for fun. A failed bearing stops a motor, a pump or a conveyor, and the person who chose it carries the blame. So the buyer's first question is not your rate, it is whether anyone they trust uses you.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

An industrial supplier checks gears, bearings, valves and fasteners

In one paragraph

Bearings are the rolling and sliding parts that carry a shaft and cut friction, from ball and roller bearings to bushes and housings. GullySales shows a bearing maker's range and proof of quality in a form a maintenance buyer can check, and handles the enquiry and the follow-up behind it.

That makes this a trust sale with a long first step. The maker who shows the series, the fit, the load rating and the testing, and who answers an enquiry the same day, begins to look like a safe change.

Who it is for

This is written for you if bearings is what you make or sell.

  • Makers of ball, roller, needle and plain bearings or bushes
  • Makers of bearing components such as cages, rings, balls and rollers
  • Housings, plummer blocks and unit makers selling to maintenance stores
  • Bearing makers that sell through dealers and want to reach OEMs directly

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A dealer selling other brands' bearings. That is the industrial distributor page.
  • A maker who cannot give a sample for fitment trials or a performance record when asked.

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of bearings.

  1. Part number and cross-reference

Maintenance buyers search by the number on the old bearing, then by an equivalent. A cross-reference table on your page puts you in that search.

  2. Dimensions, fit and load data

Bore, outside diameter, width, clearance class and rating are checked before a sample is ordered. Design engineers want the data sheet.

  3. Trial and field performance

A bearing is approved by fitting it and watching it run. OEMs ask for a trial lot and a report from the machine it ran on.

  4. Authenticity

Buyers worry about counterfeit stock in the market. Marking, packing and a way to verify a batch with you are part of what they weigh.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell bearings.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “Our bearings are good but nobody has tried them”

The buyer has no reason to risk a stoppage. A trial scheme, with a defined lot and a feedback form, gives them a safe first step.

  • “We cannot get past the dealer”

The dealer sells what earns a margin, and you never learn which machine uses which bearing. Direct OEM accounts need their own list and their own pitch.

  • “The data sheet is a scanned photocopy”

A design engineer cannot use it. A clean data page per series puts you into a specification.

The scope

The work we would propose for bearings.

Measured on qualified enquiries, quotation requests, follow-up on each quotation, trial orders won and repeat orders. Anything here that needs a platform, directory or tool we have not used with you is confirmed with you before it goes in the scope.

  1. Series pages with data tables

Dimensions, ratings and applications by series, readable on a phone and indexed by part number.

  2. Cross-reference page

Maps common competitor numbers to your equivalents, written carefully so the claim is one you can stand behind.

What we do

What you get for bearings.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A part-number search page

A buyer with the old bearing in hand finds the equivalent without a phone call.

  2. A data sheet per series

Clean, printable, with dimensions and ratings for design engineers.

  3. A trial-lot form and feedback sheet

Defines what is sent and what the buyer reports back, so a trial turns into an order or into a clear no.

  4. An OEM account list

Machine builders using your sizes, ranked by fit.

  5. A dealer fitment guide

Lets a dealer recommend your bearing with confidence.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries by part number or series
  • Trial lots shipped
  • Trial lots converted to orders
  • OEM accounts opened
  • Dealer enquiries
  • Repeat orders

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Your series list with dimensions and ratings
  • Existing data sheets and drawings
  • Customers who would allow a reference call
  • Any field trial reports
  • Photographs of your marking, packing and inspection

Export and new regions

Selling bearings beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. Overseas distributors and OEMs

Foreign buyers want proof of dimensional and test records, and a supplier who answers in their working hours. Begin with the export enquiries you already hold.

  2. Brand and private label

Some importers want their own marking. Decide before replying whether you offer that, and say it plainly.

FAQ

Questions about selling bearings.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do I compete with the established brands?
Do not try on breadth. Pick the series where you are strong, show the data and offer a trial. A buyer replaces a bearing when they have a safe way to test.
Can we mention that our bearing replaces a branded number?
Only as an equivalent in dimensions and rating, and only if you can show it. Check the wording with your adviser, since brand names carry legal risk.
Is IndiaMART worth it for bearings?
It brings enquiries, many for small quantities. The work is sorting them so the OEM lot gets answered first.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
