Manufacturing · Industrial Machinery & Equipment

The plant bought a compressor once, and now the service call decides who gets the next one.

A compressor is bought on air demand and then lived with for years. The buyer wants to know the free air delivery, the pressure, the power drawn and what happens when it fails. The purchase price is the smallest part of the cost.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Machinery builders inspect conveyors, pumps and packing equipment

In one paragraph

Industrial compressors supply compressed air or gas to tools, machines and processes, in reciprocating, screw and other types. GullySales helps compressor makers and dealers be found by plant engineers, answer sizing questions properly and keep in touch with the plants whose service contract is the real relationship.

That is why the sale does not end at delivery. The plant's maintenance head who calls you for a service visit is the same person who will decide on the next machine, and the maker who is never seen again loses them.

Who it is for

This is written for you if compressors is what you make or sell.

  • Reciprocating and screw compressor manufacturers
  • Makers of air dryers, receivers and filtration alongside the compressor
  • Dealers and service centres with an annual maintenance business
  • Makers who sell to garages, workshops and small factories as well as larger plants

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A maker with no service network and no spares plan. The compressor buyer asks about this before price.
  • A business that wants to sell only a headline price. Buyers also compare power consumption and service cost.

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of compressors.

  1. Air demand and pressure

The buyer lists the tools and processes that use air, and the pressure needed. A sizing question from you sounds helpful; a price without it sounds careless.

  2. Running cost

Power draw, oil use and maintenance interval are compared across makers. A plant that ran a poor compressor before checks them first.

  3. Service reach

How soon an engineer can reach the site, and whether spares are in stock locally. This settles many decisions between two equal quotations.

  4. A reference plant

A plant of similar size and shift pattern, running one of your units, is the proof the buyer asks for. Calls to existing customers are common.

Where orders are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell compressors.

In the words owners use on the first call.

  • “We sell the compressor and never hear from the plant again”

Without a service contract or a periodic call, the plant's next purchase goes to whoever services their old machine.

  • “Buyers choose on the lowest price and complain about power bills later”

Running cost is rarely on the quotation. A comparison sheet that shows power and service cost gives your case a basis.

  • “We lose small workshop buyers to the local dealer”

Small buyers search by town and want same-day help. A local listing and a named dealer in each city keep them within reach.

What we do

What you get for compressors.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A sizing form for plant engineers

Collects demand, pressure and hours of use. Allows a sensible recommendation, not a guess.

  2. A page per compressor type with data

Free air delivery, pressure, motor rating and cooling. Matches the engineer's search.

  3. A service-contract note

A plain description of what a maintenance contract covers. Opens the conversation with existing customers.

  4. Local service point listings

A profile and page per service city. Makes it plain a technician is nearby.

How the result is measured

  • Sizing enquiries received
  • Quotation requests and follow-up
  • Service contract enquiries
  • Orders and repeat orders
  • Enquiries by city
  • Plants contacted after installation

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before we talk.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Data sheets for each compressor range
  • A list of service locations and the technicians based there
  • The plants that currently hold a service contract
  • The last year's quotations and their outcomes
  • Photographs of installed units

Export and new regions

Selling compressors beyond your home market.

Where you sell decides standards, documents, payment terms and freight. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new region we start from your own enquiries, your existing buyers and the directories you already use.

  1. Where the market is

Compressors from India go to buyers in neighbouring countries, Africa and the Middle East, usually through local dealers who can service them. Existing export dealers are the starting point.

  2. Local power and standards

The motor and starter must match the buyer's supply. What applies to pressure vessels in each market is for your adviser and the buyer to confirm.

FAQ

Questions about selling compressors.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should I publish power consumption on the website?
Yes, with the test conditions stated. Buyers who have been burnt by a high power bill look for this first, and a maker who publishes it sounds sure of the machine.
How do I sell service contracts?
Call the plants you have supplied, ask how the machine is behaving and offer a contract with a stated scope. Start with those out of warranty.
Do small workshops matter for a compressor maker?
They buy small units in volume through dealers. A local listing and a clear dealer arrangement serve them better than direct selling.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
